Camp Craigbeird has gone camping hammock. Earlier this summer I saw backpackers hanging the hammocks in the trees and I thought I could do the same thing in back of the truck. Who needs a hotel when you can sleep suspended under stars! There’s room for two! #fingerlakes

“National parks and reserves are an integral aspect of intelligent use of natural resources. It is the course of wisdom to set aside an ample portion of our natural resources as national parks and reserves, thus ensuring that future generations may know the majesty of the earth as we know it today.”  --- John F. Kennedy

This is from the Womens March on NYC in January. A few quick points -- regardless of political position, I find it amazing to see tens of thousands people peacefully protest. The NYC police are TOP RATE! They provided a safe environment and were helpful, and even say friendly. And lastly, the creativity and messaging of the protest signs and slogans is a great attribute of our first amendment rights.
