Are TWH your favorite breed of horse? What's your favorite thing about them? (Sorry if you've already answered these questions before!)

I love Arabians personally but I work with TWH every single day and honestly they are like no other when it comes to disposition and ease to work around. As someone who does vet work on multiple breeds TWH are by far the easiest to deal with.

Apparently! My grandma used to run a rescue so I've seen a fair share of pretty hecked up looking dogs. Dog breeding has its ugly side too!

Do you know anyone who posts about bad dog breeding/ conformation ? I know of O*dd dogs and they seem very sweet but I need somewhere to truly crash out about the puppy mill bernedoodles with the most horrific conformation you could possibly imagine I see on a daily basis. Love your blog! Never stop hating on bad backyard breeding.

I know some exist i just don't know the names so my followers can help you, I'm sure!

my uncle introduced me to an app where you can buy shares of race horses so naturally I impulse purchased .01% of this thang. how badly did I fuck up?

I MEANNNNN, once grown all the way and properly conditioned i think this could be a nice animal as long as it's legs remain clean (ie, no chips, bows, ect.) It's a little downhill and weak in the neck but just a babby who doesn't have proper muscles

i grew up tangential to horse breeding (i was a dressage kid, mom bred oldenburgs and lipizzans) so i was privy to a lot of knowledge/opinions about confirmation but i haven't been involved for a solid decade now. so scrolling through your blog was like slowly becoming more and more aware that the valley i was walking was deeply, DEEPLY uncanny, with occasional outright slaps to the face of sheer horror. thanks for the walk parallel to memory lane! never have i been more grateful that my quarter horses growing up were normal fucking animals with regular amounts of muscle

i saw my first halter QH in person like 6 years ago and I couldn't stop cringing at it, everything about it was absolutely vile. Being in equine repo most of my life, with my dad being an ex breeding manager for a large farm and me now working for a repro vet, I'm like "Oh boy, that mare is gonna pass on those clubbed feet to her child" or "No don't breed her to him, you'll get a horse that's a mile long and ugly"

This was the little old boy (37 years!!) at the rescue I volunteered at, he was used as a breeding stud for years and never lost the family jewels after he was brought to us… I’d love to hear your thoughts lmao

honestly he just looks like a cute little sturdy pony! I wouldn't geld an old horse, or pony tbh either, at some point it does become high risk to put them under and castrate them. He was a cute lil guy though!

I grew up without any male relatives in the picture, so my first impressions of balls were that intact horses are often less predictable/poorly trained, intact dogs pee everywhere, intact cats spray everywhere, intact rabbits hump everything, etc. so I see a human person with them and my first unconscious reaction is "aw great. that's so annoying/irresponsible"

Man as saw a stud yesterday that shows a lot and I swear I've never seen a bigger set of balls and sheath area and I was like "how does he even move swinging them thangs"

Ngl I’m tired of people in comments of mini horse videos going he wasn’t bred to be like that he just has dwarfism! …As if they aren’t obviously intentionally breeding dwarfism to get a horse as small as possible. Sorry but not gelding a stallion with dwarfism is a conscious choice these people are making to produce more horses with dwarfism.
