Ravings and other things Fandoms smoothie I love to analyze stories and characters I don't have a persobnality, I just stole it from Helga Pataki Slytherin Jaime and Brienne endgame

I knew from the beginning that a series this good couldn't use the dead wife trope without reversing it in some way. I just didn't know when or how they would do it. And I have to say that anything I could imagine they overcame it.
Gemma is not just a device to make mark complex, she has her own struggle, her own personality and both, she and her husband, impact each other's plot. Severance will go down in history as one of the best series ever, I'm sure of it.

My favorite type of stories? Stories where it seems to be any different genre, but halfway through the plot it's revealed that it was a love story all along

Watching severance is no longer enough. I need to burn lumon to the ground myself.

Severance's S2e07 is as if the scene of the dead wife where she runs between white sheets hanging in the sunlight was played for fifty minutes.

So this episode is about consent...
and rebellion.
I don't want to infantilize the characters, because they're not children, but the unconventional nature of their existence takes them to some pretty grey places.
Flirting, romantic interests and awkwardness was the main dish of the episode. Saying this in a very simplified way, they are teenagers now. And isn't adolescence the stage of rebellion?
It's really interesting how a central point of the narrative is the innie's humanity.
The fact that they are an individual person, with their own experiences. But they are also individuals who came into the world in a special way because they know they should have a mother, but are unable to remember the color of her eyes. They understand the concept of fire or the stars, but they don't know what it looks like.
But they are “growing”, they want more. RDM has become radicalized and corporate awards no longer satisfy them. They want human connection.
Dylan knows he has a wife and kids, and all he wants now is to hear about them and see his wife's face.

Irving experienced the pain of not being with the person he love to the point of wanting to go into eternal non-existence because “that's how they were together in some way.” And now, even though they are in non-existence, their outies agreed to dinner together.

Mark and Helly felt abused in different ways by the same person. So they did the most rebellious thing they could do: give consent.

Experiencing love, yearning for it, is unproductive, alien to Lumon's values. Which makes it an act of rebellion.

I would take my heart out of my chest and give it to her, I don't know what good it would do her, but I would do it.

Ok so she's crazy and weird and adorable and disturbing.
I love crazy and cute characters. Look at her face. Don't you want to squeeze her cheeks and put her in a straight jacket?

Ok I have spent two weeks trying to think of a way that this can all end with everyone being happy ever after and I just came to the conclusion that I hate myself so much and I don't know why I do this to myself.

May I say a questions?
I'm just a girl who loves innie Burt so much
But outie Burt scares me. How does he know where Irving lives? Why does he want him to come to dinner? Why does he wait for Irving in the dark and watch him? I was so happy to see Irving and Burt interact, but this?
