I always wondered why Crane uses his feet to do everyday tasks but Shen doesn't. My conclusion is that peafowl are galliformes (ground birds) with stronger legs used primarily for walking. While cranes have feet specialized for the uneven terrain of marshlands. Crane probably has much more dexterity in his feet and legs than Shen does. That being said, Shen has the advantage of some mean kicks (with spurs included!)

Alright, KFP fandom, we gotta talk about "Discrimination" 🎉

Cause, not even to be mean, y'all kinda dumb. Y'all sound like the type of person to tell me "No racism exists in the North" and lemme tell ya as someone from the North, there is but it's DIFFERENT. And before you ask, Yes this is about The Chameleon (who will be called Cammy cause I am lazy and deserve to be paid for this shit.) and the fandoms massive misunderstanding of her single line about being denied access to Kung Fu because she's "little". And I see your lil fingers tapping away to howl about "MASTER MANTIS" and some LOA rejects. And remember that earlier example I brought up about discrimination existing in the north but its just different from the South? Yeah, its the same thing. Some people can get past that challenge but some of us aren't that lucky and you all forget about my MAIN MAN, THE GOAT, Crane!!!

Yeah, the brother whose almost as tall as Tigress, yeah he was discriminated against for his skinny frame and detered from trying out and I think it's funny y'all leave my boy out but that doesn't fit your little gotcha, now does it?

This is where that line "We're not so different, you and I." comes to shine. Cammy didn't have an event such as Oogway's death to shake those Master's to their core to train her. No, they were probably just proud teachers who denied all those beneath them, which is not uncommon, you can see this in a lot of Kung fu flicks, keeping certain arts from certain territories close and always wanting to prove whose kung fu is superior. There are so many problems with Crane's backstory from Legends of Awesomeness TV series that I shall not name because I do not like it. Like it is not nearly angsty enough. I mean it does make sense for him to have an overprotective parent, or maybe even like a helicopter parent, but I just. Don't like that backstory in particular. I will change it and make it 10 times angstier though.

What she means: In Kung Fu Panda fanworks, Tigress is often portrayed as a violent, temperamental tomboy while Viper is portrayed as demure and polite and a full-blown girly-girl. However, canon shows that Tigress is actually calm and slow to anger unless something really agitates her (such as being passed up for a position she’s been training HER ENTIRE LIFE for in favor of a fanboy who struggles to even climb the stairs), and while her fighting style is aggressive and her personality is curt, her body language is often reserved and even traditionally feminine. Then there’s Viper, whose immediate response to the problem of a building full of cannons AND LIVING, BREATHING PEOPLE MANNING THEM is “We bring down the building!” with the most gleeful tone and the biggest smile on her face, and who canonically entered the world of kung fu because a giant warrior injured her father and her response was essentially “Square up, bitch.” She’s a sweetheart and a peacemaker, make no mistake, but this girl loves a good fight. There’s so much nuance to each character, but they’re often stripped down to “the tomboy and the girly-girl.” Why? In this essay I will

At this point I think we as a community need to reject and deny the existence of Kung Fu Panda 4 and just watch 1 and 2 on repeat for the rest of our lives and vote on which fan content is now canon.
