Animal Photo. You pose a 3d skull model and select an animal species, and they give you a bunch of photo references for that animal at that angle. Super handy. Free.
Height Weight Chart. You ever see an OC listed as having a certain weight but then they look Wildly different than the number suggests? Well here's a site to avoid that! It shows real people at different weights and heights to give you a better idea of what these abstract numbers all look like. Free to use.

Trying desperately to learn how to draw animals for an upcoming assignment
Used my dog for most of them and came incredibly close to shaving him so I can actually see the shapes
But he stays nice and fluffy for now...

GUEST SPEAKER
Todd Ramsay was a guest speaker in our class recently to summarize his life.

After spending a year working in the oil fields he started putting more effort into pursuing his passion in art, taking 2 years of fine arts in kelowna before moving to vancouver to spend time learning about classical animation.
He spent some time bouncing around between different jobs (and got married yay)
before getting into a skiing accident and shattered his drawing hand which forced him to take a medical leave from his director job. He spent this forced vacation time reteaching himself how to draw with his left (nondominant) hand.
He went back to director jobs for a while once he was healed, up until having his daughter (also yay) which helped him decide that his work schedule needed to change and he switched to picking up gig work and moved things back to kelowna.
Knowing about his recent work atomic cartoons gave a 3 year partnership, and after awhile of working on things like Snack Time he started Yeti Farm and they started working on things like Max and Ruby, Deep Space 69, the Hotel Transylvania series and more.
