also, gonna give time to talk about something, because i was previously antsy about speaking on it, but fuck this shit honestly

this whole situation with the forcemasc/forcefem blogs is exactly why i hate the "tma/tme" bullshit

i've said it before, i'll say it again, a binary can never be an accurate representation of people.

it just takes all the complexities of trans oppression, the different kinds of trans oppression (trans misogyny, transandrophobia, and don't you dare tell me the second one doesn't exist after today), and squashes it down into a cute little binary, which then became just another bullshit excuse to fuel the us vs them mentality shared by large swathes of trans people on this site

and then, people use it to label other trans people as somehow "less oppressed" (usually transmascs), and it creates a mentality that transmascs are oppressors, when they are not, and results in transmascs being blamed for shit they had nothing to do with, and harrassed for wanting their struggles to be acknowledged

and in the end, it means that whenever a trans woman is harrassed, it starts another wave against those ✨️dIsGuStInG tMeS✨️, and inevitably hurts trans people

y'all can't even let them have a word to describe their specific struggles, and go so far as to call them slurs and other derogatory terms like "transandrobro" and "TMRA" for the crime of wanting one

there will never be "trans solidarity" as long as we keep making pointless binaries, and treating half of our own community like oppressors

and i'm taking a fucking stand on this shit, i was letting it fly before, but not any more, i'm no longer tolerating transandrophobia from ANYONE
