A custard cream is a type of biscuit popular in the British Isles. Its structure is that of a sandwich, with a creamy, custard-flavoured centre between two flat biscuit layers. Traditionally, the filling was buttercream (which is still used in home-made recipes) but nowadays cheaper fats have replaced butter in mass-produced biscuits. The filling tastes of vanilla and as such is more akin to the taste of custard made with custard powder than egg custard. They usually have an elaborate baroque design stamped onto them, originating in the Victorian era. In a 2007 poll of 7,000 Britons, 9 out of 10 voted custard creams to be their favourite biscuit. In 2009 it was ranked the eighth most popular biscuit in the UK to dunk into tea. Ginger biscuits are flavoured with powdered ginger and a variety of other spices, most commonly cinnamon, molasses and nutmeg. There are many recipes for ginger nuts. In the United Kingdom, the Isle of Man, Australia, and New Zealand and most of the former British Empire, they are often called ginger nuts. Ginger nuts are not to be confused with pepper nuts, which are a variety of gingerbread, somewhat smaller in diameter, but thicker. McVitie's ginger nuts was listed as the tenth most popular biscuit in the UK to "dunk" into tea. In the United States, the usual term is ginger snaps, and they are generally round drop cookies, usually between 3 mm (1/8-inch) and 6 mm (1/4-inch) thick, with prominent cracks in the top surface.

So... I’m Planning a Book Series
This might not surprise some of you. This might surprise everyone or no one.
So, why am I talking about it here? Well, for starters, to advertise it but also because I’ve remade my blog for the series, which is called The Blood Series (named after the extended quote ‘blood of the covenant is thicker than the water of the womb’). After the blog became cluttered with writing advice, which is not what it was intended for, I decided that I’d need to start again. It looks much better now.
It currently has no posts or followers, and I’m super passionate about this book series especially. I’ve been planning it for about half a decade; I’ve designed history, lore, humanoid species, worlds, afterlifes and about fifty characters for this series. So much dedication has gone into this project and I’d hate for it to die quietly.
I’ll be posting character bios, excerpts and more on the blog, and it’ll be where I answer questions about the series.
The book series’ elevator pitch is this: ten mostly gay teens go on a road trip around England to collect items for a ritual to resurrect the gods while several groups chase them.
Intrigued? You can follow the blog here. You’ll probably want to read the warning, the cast, the full synopsis and the author pages.
Please at least reblog this, I’m super passionate about getting this series known, written and published. I’ll most likely have a page with my other ideas for stories somewhere but it’ll be mostly for The Blood Series. I can’t say much about its future, perhaps a Patreon or commissions or something like that.
Thank you for reading this post, please reblog and, if you’re interested, follow the blog.

Hey, if any of you are interested in any of my other OCs and WIP works, check out @souls-ocs. It's got a list of all my OCs, all my current works and more. Cream, Ginger, Tea, Tiv and other characters I made that never got into the spotlight aren't on the blog yet, but I'll probably add them soon and consider renaming them to use in my original projects.
Sorry for abandoning this blog. I hope to see some of you there!

Writing Commissions
I am opening commissions!
I’m getting the age where it’s expected of me by my peers to get a job (something simple like a paper round or maybe helping out in a shop) - most of my friends have jobs and they’re all making the dough that makes the world go round.
As you probably know, I’m an absolute mess and there’s no way I’d be able to hold up a job. I’m autistic, I’m depressed, I have psychopathic and narcissistic thoughts, the list goes on. I’m lazy as well so there’s no way I’d be able to do even a paper round.
And thus, I resort to my one ‘talent’ - writing.
I don’t know if it counts as a job, per say, but hey, it gets some money in my pocket.
The majority of my earnings will go toward my book series, The Blood Series, (to buy art commissions and other things) and what’s left will be put to things such as games, books and such.
This is just me testing the waters and starting out.
I decided to put most of the details under the cut because there is a lot to mention.
There is a limit of twenty thousand (20000) words, I should say, before we get too far into this, but I will not charge extra if you go above your commission’s limit.
Five hundred (500) to seven hundred and fifty (750) words will cost you five pounds (£5).
Seven hundred and fifty one (751) to one thousand (1000) words will cost you ten pounds (£10).
One thousand one (1001) to five thousand (5000) words will cost you fifteen pounds (£15).
Anything over five thousand (5000) words will cost you twenty pounds (£20).

I’m going to be taking moodboard requests!
I’ll be doing them for my fandoms only and will be doing name moodboards (you send your name or the name of your OC [OPTIONAL: and a theme], I create a moodboard for what it makes me think of) as well.
Ask for details, but yeah.
Moodboard requests!

Tea freezes, almost about to explode with fury, but then forces herself to calm down with a side glance at Ginger (and at Ginger saying it was a joke). She watches her walk away and then looks at her own Ginger. "How are you friends with her?"
"She's nice."
She also studies Ginger’s face.
Her Ginger stands awkwardly and eats cookies.
