HAPPY SPRING! So I got a gig transforming a craft store’s windows In the Viewmont Mall in Dickson City. I painted the walls first, then used fixtures they had, bought rugs and used them as table runners, walked through the store and picked hand crafted merch that harmonized and arranged them. The blue hanging panels are big pieces of cardboard (thanks Jami Cavanagh) that I covered with grift wrap paper. Here is my Esther update. Nearly a week ago she laid her eggs in a precarious spot on the Miami River. There are daily changes in the flood debris but she stays still and keeps her dreams safe. She has been such an inspiration to me. A couple of days ago she whispered her name, Esther. It means star. Many things have happened in our world but the greatest have been what we put forth into the world. There is no hiding much of anything. It just seems to all come bubbling up and at the same time the walls keep crumbling down. Esther didn’t sit on the side; she simply had a dream and now sits on it while the world moves all around her and while she moves in it. She’s a beautiful model of how to live in all of this.
