Well, Friends & Neighbors, what I said was true.  This clown has another person co-signing on his nonsense.  I don’t have to report to the FBI, Sunshine!  All I have to do is send the Copyright Tribunal proof of the violation BEFORE I had it removed.  Tumblr is removing violations within 60 seconds because it knows what you no talent bloggers are doing and it will be the “deep pocket” in court.  But it will also have to remove any work that cannot be proved by the blogger to be his or her creation.

yo when i'm going through my tumblr archive i'll periodically see a grey box that says "tumblr has removed this post for violating guidelines" or something but never have i seen something like this happen. tumblr usually just does that little override thing, so her saying anything is out of line, especially in such a confrontational way. like if she's upset about that then she's gonna have to report all of tumblr to the fbi

thanks for the reassurance, man. yeah, usually things like that go over pretty quietly and smoothly on any website. at this point i’m not too worried about whether or not i was in the wrong because it was highly unlikely that i was, but it was the personal accusations and the fact that she made a tumblr just to call me an asshole for something that may have never happened in the first place that got me heated to absolutely no end. the fact that these people exist is maddening.

I asked a blogger to remove my copyrighted photo from his site.  Instead, "the36seonds" (which is probably his attention span!) launches into this long diatribe about how his generation basically is too stupid to be expected to create the same photographs, music, art, and literature of the thousands of generations that came before.  I let him know quick, fast and in a hurry, that I was not the person to either engage in "word play" or copyright infringement law, as I'm an expert at both.  Of course, like the pussy laptop gangster that he his, he tries to cry "harassment" when I didn't even know who his monkey ass was until he stole my photo.  Guess what http://the36seconds.tumblr.com/?  You've got nothing going on so there's no basis in law for your claim of harassment.  YOU harassed and stole from ME!  Now back off, Peaches, before you break a nail!  #SayHelloToMyLittlePen

First, I didn't take time to read all of this bullshit rhetoric you spouted here.  Let's just cut to the key points.......I handled this the only way I could.  My photo has been reblogged over 5,000 times on this silly site designed for people with no talent, no creativity and no conscious about breaking the law.  If you want me to take your ass to court, I will.  My attorney has a screenshot of every page run by assholes who think they’re running shit.  I’m not worried about an “entire generation” of dumbed down clowns.  This photo is available for view in the Smithsonian Museum of African-American History and Culture and in the Smithsonian publication “Ain’t Nothing Like The Real Thing” (pg 202).  If you all would go to a museum or READ a book, you wouldn’t have time to steal the hard work of others. 

It IS possible to create works of your own.  Your generation is just too stupid to even try.  You’d rather steal photos, music, art and anything else you can get your monkey paws on.  But, at the end of the day, you are committing a criminal offense.  There are thousands of us about to pounce on every person here and on Pinterest who are stealing our work.  Both sides are “thisclose” to a major class action suit and all of you thieves will lose all of the time you spent building your houses with someone else’s bricks!

I’m IN the record business and hip-hop PAYS for samples.  Ask Lil Wayne who used one of my song on his “Tha Carter 3” CD.  Copyrights and sample clearances are what I do for a living. I went to LAW SCHOOL for those disciplines. Why not back away from that keyboard and at least get a GED!

Well excuse me, but I’m not self-righteous enough to decide to make a specific tumblr for the express purpose of calling me an ass. I still do not know what post you are talking about, nor do I appreciate you accusing me of being a thief because of it. If I ever made a post using your Delfonics picture then it has come and gone without my knowledge and I do not appreciate that you apparently do not recognize that that might have happened.To be perfectly honest, you have handled this in an extremely juvenile manner and I have absolutely no idea how you function in the modern world. I don’t know how my posting (or alleged posting; I have absolutely no way of knowing if I ever did post it and it was taken down, or if you are simply mistaken) of a simple picture constitutes my being a thief. I have made absolutely no money off of such an image, nor have I used it for any express commercial purpose, so I do not see any harm done to you in my posting of such an image. All harm here has been imagined by you and you have apparently won your own imaginary battle, regardless of whether or not I did, in fact, post that picture. Congratulations.

On a related note, I feel extremely saddened by this display of selfishness, and I consider this to be representative of the mad bureaucracy surrounding art which uses repurposed imagery and sound (something very near and dear to me), be it through a sample or an image on a collage. Even though this was an issue of giving credit, I feel as if what follows is relevant enough to the asker, who, upon a quick google search, happens to work in sample clearance. 

It is nearly impossible nowadays to create a work of art without reacting to existing works of art or simply existing things because there is such a wealth of it out there now and because my generation in particular has been inundated with copyrighted imagery. Some people from my generation prefer to make memories out of the very things they remember, and they can twist certain images, objects, and sounds to make it appear as how they perceived it, thereby expressing themselves. Hip hop used samples, Dadaists used collages, and I could point to you more instances in modern art where things have been repurposed in order for somebody to truly express themselves and to express a new idea. More often than not, these repurposings were homages to things that have made up their memories; these people were not thieves. Yet they have been vilified by people like the above as being uncreative thieves and these copyright holders would much rather wring out whatever money they can get from that rather than appreciate the fact that somebody would react to their art in such a way and make something new out of it and possibly extrapolate new ideas from it. This dog-eat-dog mentality regarding copyright more often than not comes from a place of antagonism rather than one of brotherhood and solidarity, so personally I do not have any sympathy with such a mentality. You see, this is not an issue of mere legality and semantics anymore. This is an issue of letting an entire generation who has been absolutely overwhelmed by copyrighted imagery like no other generation before them simply express themselves using what is immediately around them.

All that being said, I will waste no more time qualifying these absurd asks with responses. I do not know whether the post in question got deleted or if you have been sorely mistaken, and frankly, at this point I do not care which one it turned out to be. This is the last response you will hear from me. Anything further I will consider as harassment.
