In our study, we sought to explore behavioral measures of attitudes towards seeking information on domestic violence (DV) by examining participants' responses to DV information fliers distributed during the debriefing session. Out of the 68 participants, only 9 individuals (13%) discarded the fliers shortly after the study. Interestingly, this rate of flier disposal was consistent across all three groups, indicating a uniform lack of interest in retaining the DV information.

This result sheds light on the limited impact of the DV Public Service Announcement (PSA) image condition on participants' receptivity towards DV information. Despite exposure to various PSA images, participants displayed similar behaviors in disregarding the informational material provided to them. This suggests a potential gap between the visual stimuli presented in the PSAs and individuals' actual engagement with DV awareness materials.

The uniformity in flier disposal rates across groups implies a commonality in participants' attitudes towards seeking information on DV, irrespective of the specific PSA image they were exposed to. This finding underscores the importance of exploring alternative strategies to enhance individuals' interest and engagement with DV information, beyond visual stimuli alone.

Our study highlights the need for further research to understand the underlying factors influencing individuals' behaviors towards DV information seeking. By delving deeper into the cognitive processes and motivations driving individuals' responses to DV awareness materials, we can develop more effective interventions to promote awareness and education on the issue of domestic violence.
