Back home!! 💖✨Montreal, I'm out of stock for now, but I'm already back on the wheel producing a limited run of all your faves. I will be having a studio sale on Saturday, December 16, 12-5pm!! (Address of my studio is in my bio page) (Also, online store is closed for now... 😴) And Toronto, thank you, thank you, THANK YOU - to all the new faces and familiar ones, to my fellow exhibitors cheering each other on throughout the 11 days, to our awesome ceramic crew who drove an 18-ft truck filled with hundreds of pots (and who waited patiently on the side of the highway for hours after midnight for a tow-truck when it broke down...). And of course, thank you @ooak_team ! 😄 See you in spring!

This last month has been a whirlwind- my kiln broke down (and so did I, sometimes 😂) and it was a pretty wild scramble to transport half-finished pieces to other pottery studios to fire everything..! Thank goodness this amazing and generous ceramic community 💖 An especially gros merci à @melanie_ranger_ceramiste et @natureimprint for your kilns (et @gaeleceramiste pour ton backup support..! 😅) See you at @ooak_toronto in a week!!!!! Part of me can't believe this is happening, but here it is and I'm so proud and excited to share with you all. Our magical collaborative book project: From the Stars in the Sky to the Fish in the Sea is officially being launched! 🚀 2 dates so far: Montreal, September 16 & Toronto, September 30. It's also been selected as this CBC top 17 must read books for this season! 🌟🐟 Congratulations to us, Kai Cheng Thom and Kai Yun Ching!!🎉✨ But this also wouldn't have been achieved without the strength and support of friends, fam, and community. 💖 We never do anything alone. Thank you!!! (See you soon!! ;))

HI! It's been a little while since my last post- these hands have been busy making ceramic critters for the 1001 Pots exhibition 🙌💓! They are now all ready to greet you at this beautiful outdoor pottery event, open everyday until August 13. I will be there in person on July 12 and Aug 10 for those who wanna come say hello! 👋😸 (at 1001 pots)

The last couple weeks have been a whirlwind of paint and paper and paper as @kaiyunching and I just finished illustrating the last leg of "from the stars in the sky to the fish in the sea"!! The drawings have officially been sent to Arsenal Pulp Press and will be released later this year! (You can already pre-order your copy on Amazon 😁) Here are a few photos of our process, and an impromptu delicious cake made by our incredibly supportive friends and partners 😍 Previews of the book will be shown during the studio open house on June 1st!
