I am completely heartbroken. 💔💔💔 I participated in a contest organized by Universal Music Belgium to win tickets for Taylor Swift’s exclusive City of Lover concert in Paris. For every person who entered his/her name and e-mail through my personal link and confirmed in an e-mail afterwards, I got 50 points. These past ten days, I have done everything for this contest. I woke up with it and went to bed with it. I even lost 8 pounds because of the stress it gave me and the lack of sleep. I have asked basically everyone I know personally to help me; people I know from kindergarten, high school, uni, colleagues, ex-colleagues, neighbors, colleagues of my parents, friends, family and their friends. This morning I even took the train to work at 6.30 am and asked around in the railway station for people to help me. I was so close to winning and I wanted to see Taylor in Paris so bad. At 1.30 pm the contest ended and I was still in first position. I was so relieved, happy and excited, only for universal music to message me later that they had disqualified me and they cannot give me a proper explanation why. They say I cheated but I truly never did! I was always so careful that I did everything by the rules. I am completely heartbroken by this and this feels so unfair. I have been crying all day. If I would have lost because of the points I would have been sad but I would have been okay with it, but now it’s like I won and they took it away and somehow I feel like I never really had a chance to win from the start. I know a lot of people didn’t want me to win because I have seen Taylor multiple times in different counties, but for every time I have seen her I had to work very hard and save up a lot. I’m sorry I have been a fan for over 12 years. Of course I have seen her multiple times. I don’t think it’s that strange.
