Lights of Hope

There are still many villages in our country where electricity has not reached till today. Where all work is done in the light of day and the darkness of the night is cut by the light of the wax lamp.

This is how the fight of their lives goes. The hopes of the future live in the light of this wax lamp. This is how the little lives of our village are continuing their studies today. Dreaming of the future will continue with the light of this wax lamp.

This photo is from my upcoming project called “Home Documentary.”

Green signifies a connection with nature, growth, and harmony. It energizes us and relieves stress from our modern life. Our family finds solace in nature, feeling relaxed, peaceful, and safe, especially at home.

The photo depicts my mom meditating in her green room, symbolizing new beginnings and growth. She usually meditates during sunrise but sometimes does so in her green room if she wakes up late. The teddy next to my mom is important because it’s her favorite and it creates a contrast in my frame too. I didn’t want to disturb anything around me. Green represents connection, growth, and harmony, aligning with my goal as a photographer to capture unique, storytelling moments that reflect the reality of our home.

I’ve begun sharing photos of our beloved home, which holds a special place in our hearts. Every detail, big or small, is meaningful and helps us to discover ourselves. “Home” is where true happiness resides, and photography is the key to preserving those precious moments forever.

this is the common zebra, also known as the plains zebra—and you guessed it, they are the most abundant and common zebra you could see while on safari.

they live in small family groups usually consisting of a single stallion (male), several females, and their young. They are herbivores and have an average lifespan of 25 years in the wild.

conservation status: near threatened.

A year old Bactrian camel is no longer able to walk the migration due to exhaustion and lack of food So he hitches a ride on one of the older camels. Bactrian camels are the power houses of the migration. They are strong, resilient, and because of their very thick fur they can withstand very harsh conditions. They can carry up to 600kg of heavy loads and are often used to carry other animals in distress. They are pack animals and have a docile and calm temperament.

DAILY VISUAL VOYAGE: Photographer- Shashank Ojha : Holi is one of the festivals that made me realise how photographers go through an extreme journey to capture extraordinary. But nevertheless the compounds of Barsana temple just left me stunned with its energy, chaos & pain. The final scenes from the celebration is no lesser than a movie. Even if i take apart the angle of pictures, this was a spectacular lifetime experience.
