"SLIME WTF SLOW DOWN I JUST SAID DONT KILL US!!" It was like you could see her soul leaving her body

"if this is how I die may slime get dragged down with me" she mumbled to no one in particular, probably the universe.

"... What." She then jabbed a finger at their forehead accusingly.

"Slime if you are trying to get me to steer this thing I swear to God"

Begrudgingly climbing into the passenger seat, Zen took one look at the control panels and blanked.

"I hope by "help" you mean "emotional support " cause I have no damn clue how this stuff works." She said, then turned to slime and patted them on the shoulder.

"I'll start now, I believe in you also please don't kill us." She gave them a few stiff shoulder pats, clearly not that enthusiastic about not being on her comfy couch anymore.

Zen, once again, felt her eye twitch. Then she sighed in defeat.

"bestie you're going to give me a stroke."

Zens eye twitched, and she had to take a deep breath before speaking.

"... If this takes more than an hour I'm leaving." Yeah she didn't have the energy to argue this level of stubborn chaos. Pushing Slime out of her house, she stepped out and stared at the ship.

"I'm gonna be honest I don't know how you expect me to help with this thing."

Zen stared at them for a second, then rubbed her forehead and shut the door in their face.

"I don't consent!" She announced, trying to slip back to the couch where she had been potatoing out all day.

"Is it also the sound of you finally getting your live bomb out of my yard??" Zen called back, pushing herself off the couch before opening the door and raising an eyebrow.

"What- WAIT SLIME YOU MOTHER FUCKER DONT LEAVE A GIANT BOMB IN MY YARD WHAT THE FUCK!!" Her eye twitched as she watched them disappear towards the city and let out a tired groan.

"So this thing is stuck in my yard till you fix it?" She sighed and crossed her arms.

"You better make sure to grab all your shit then, if anyone visits theres a solid 50/50 chance it's getting looted. The people on this island are fucking savages i swear."

"Holy shit two years? You missed a lot." She didn't realize it had been that long. Then she shrugged.

"But eh, kinda depends on the day. You totally missed it though, some random criminal turned everyone into racoons while they tried to steal something from the council building. It was fucking crazy." She both chuckled and cringed at the memory as she watched them fill the duffle bag.

"The hell are you doing with all that?"

"I'll be honest I always kinda just assumed you were a feral hobo, I wouldn't be surprised if they evicted you're ass after disappearing for like a year." She shrugged as she walked over and prodded at the caved in hood of the ship. It was a miracle it stayed together till now honestly if that l was all it took.

She walked over and grabbed their helmet, then tossed up back up to them.

"So you've been gone for a hot minute. Either you had a super long training arc or you got lost on your way back."

She was about to question how they knew her name, then she squinted.

Oh.

"Dude you picked probably the most out of the way place to make your dramatic enterance on the island, the actual city is like 2 miles that way." She pointed behind them with a deadpan expression, then blinked.

"Wait, actually besides that- what the fuck Slime have you been in space this whole time?? That's so extra!.. And on brand I guess, but still." She really shouldn't be surprised at this point by anything ever. She glanced at their ship briefly with a raised eyebrow.

"Nice ride."

Zen was already done with this. Stepping outside, she grabbed a loose rod of bamboo near her and chucked it at the weirdo's head who just crashed into her yard.

Zen squinted out the blinds of her home while clenching her mug of pure caffeine. She was more skeptical of possible social interaction rather than worried about whatever just fell from the damn sky near her house.

Zen just smiled quietly, floating against the wall of the building as Pink watched in irritation, but was officially too drained to do much aside from curling up tighter.

"Don't think you'll get away with your attitude. The second I'm out of this form you'll regret it." Pink hissed, and Zen just rolled her eyes as she watched over Shandy.

"If you're still in control in ten hours I think you'll be too weak to do much. I'll manage." She mumbled back. As long as noone actually came over to see her, Pink shouldn't be able to do much damage. She hoped at least.

After some time, alarms started going off in the council building.

Zen was growing tired, but as she noticed a few papers fluttered away without Shandy noticing, she placed a translucent hand against the ground and managed to grow some short rods of bamboo for them to get caught on before they were lost. Pink scoffed at the "waste of energy", but Zen was glad to be able to do something.

After some time, alarms started going off in the council building.
