obviously i'm not going to get mad at Toriel for not realizing that her fucking television is a sentient being who loves her and i know Susie is probably smart enough to understand that too but... i think, after seeing Tenna shivering after being left alone in the rain, after seeing for herself how pained he was at the idea of being thrown out by his "family," and realizing he did actually experience that and was only saved by sheer luck... i think a small part of Susie would be unable to keep from being disappointed at Toriel, deep down

Ive seen people saying that because Susie bleeds she's half human. But i think its just more likely that some, but not all monsters have blood in deltarune.

That would explain that bunny asking kris if it hurts to be full of blood. And that would mean susie saying "everybody bleeds" is yet another hint that she grew up among humans

god I can't wait to see how the mirror text changes as we get more chapters

not only because i love how the way narration refers to us and kris feels intentionally ambiguious (the usage of "you", especially in stark contrast to when the narration describes kris drawing on the canvas in chapter 3 as specifically kris themself), but just think of the ways it can be recontextualized

"it's only you." it (this being that is controlling and masquerading as you) is only you (you, kris. you.)

"it's what they call 'you'." it (this being who's had almost everyone in town fooled, that believe that even if you're acting a little different, you're clearly still you) is what they call 'you' (you, kris. always you.)

and susie being there with them when you check the mirror in chapter 4 breaks that pattern (intentionally and effectively!), but just imagine all the other possibilities that'll surely leave us gutted
