I couldn't believe it when I first heard the news... Sadly, Akira Toriyama, one of if not THE most legendary creator in the entirety of the anime industry, being a character designer for games like Dragon Quest, Blue Dragon and Chrono Trigger, but also creating manga like Dr. Slump, and of course, Dragon Ball... has passed away on March 1st. Words can't describe how influential and timeless his works are, and we in the anime community will forever be thankful of him. The anime and manga industry wouldn't be what it is today without Akira Toriyama. Rest in piece, Toriyama, as we are extremely grateful to you, and we'll never forget your timeless legacy.
