Translation Masterpost
It’s getting hard for me to keep track of my own translations, so I decided to make a masterpost for the sake of convenience.
For those who are only interested in the translations and not my other posts, you can go to my Livejournal. I will still post on Tumblr but well, it gets mixed up among my reblogs. NSFW chapters will only be posted on Tumblr, but I’ll post a link on my LJ too.
Listed by series, then by chronological chapter order.
If any of the links are wrong, please inform me so I can fix it.
Please consider buying me a coffee!
Update: I made a Twitter in case something happens to this blog

The Pinnacle of Bing-Mei and Bing-Ge’s Face-Off, Part 1
Aaaand I’m back with another extra from Scum Villain’s Self-Saving System.
The title of this extra is 冰妹與冰哥的巔峰對決 and it’s separated into three parts. Actually the title could also be translated into something like “Bing-Mei and Bing-Ge’s Face-Off on the Summit” but it sounded kind of weird to me??
The ‘mei’ in ‘Bing-mei (冰妹)’ means ‘little sister’ and the ‘ge’ in ‘Bing-ge (冰哥)’ means ‘big brother’.
This is the first extra chapter in the series and picks up directly where the main story left off. Basically these guys eloped.
Forgive any inaccurate translation, and please don’t repost.
No warnings for this chapter, it’s as safe as a BL novel could get.

A Memory: Fighting Succubi with Master Liu
Here’s a Scum Villain extra I originally translated for @daylight-star, featuring Liu Qingge and Shen Qingqiu. I loved it so much (it’s hands-down my favourite extra), I decided to clean up the translation and share it.
This extra takes place before the Jinlan City arc. No spoilers if you’re caught up on the main translations, but it adds context to LQG and SQQ’s interactions, and really all of LQG’s actions later in the novel. There’s a follow-up section in another extra that I may translate if people are interested. Edit: Follow-up translated here!
Title Note:
SQQ often affectionately calls LQG 柳巨巨 in his mind, referring to the latter’s superhuman abilities, which I translated to “Master Liu.” 魅妖 (lit. seducing demons) became succubi, probably the closest Western concept.
Please excuse any inaccuracies, and don’t repost.

Made a comprehensive guide on MXTX’s series’ main characters! I noticed a lot of people on my TL were having trouble distinguishing characters apart (let alone knowing there were 3 different novels), so I highlighted character traits and wrote them down ^^ I hope it helps!

I just realized I forgot to post these here on my tumblr…
Tossing (wrong) Flower Under my previous, more serious post of Wei Wuxian tossing flowers to Lan WangJi.…there was a comment on Weibo saying “hua hua~” (flower) and then I couldn’t help it…Orz *Hua Cheng’s name (Heaven Official’s Blessing) means flower.
P1:
WiFi: A flower to match the beauty~ Mob: YiLing Patriarch is murdering someone!!! Xie Lian: hmmm…gotta try this for my next street performance…
P2:
criminal Wei O Xian: A flower to match the beauty~ Lan Zhan: I gotta keep everything Baby gives me.                  (intends to walk back to Cloud Recesses like this) Hua Cheng: … Xie Lian: w…WAIT!! bunny maru: can you make a bookmark out of THAT flower…?

[Little Wei Ying & Little Lan Zhan Lotus Picking]

It’s a total of 10 images. I…got carried away drawing this. ha ha ha OvOlll
**To fully understand this it’d be better if you 1) read the extra chapter of “Incense Burner” 2) saw my previous post of WiFi “Tossing (wrong) Flower” to WangJi  and 3) read all 3 novels by MXTX

Spring Nights; Old Cities [
This is a request translation for @princessyona123, 1 of 2. Enjoy!
*pre-translation note: this one was hard. the next one will be harder. this is a poetic interpretation of the lyrics, and I tried to allude to the same things in the book as the original lyrics.
youtube
Once, I had far-reaching dreams and rode for miles on horseback; drunk I was on the splendor of our youth.
And once, with bow in hand, my arrows pierced flower and leaf; warm jade was hidden in my heart.
When I stood at the height of medicine, I read every book in the Qi-Shan vaults,
and treated all earthly ailments, but the hardest to heal is the human condition.
In one night, fresh buds become flower paste, flowing like everything else into the grime of this dusty world.
Afraid of the cold night wind that came too soon; a sudden lashing rain begins in the old city.
【WN】
Firstly, I do not stand for stupidity; second, i thank you for making acquaintanceship.
Thirdly, my aspirations are yet fulfilled, my road lies long and rugged, mortally afraid I’ve buried my common sense.
【WQ】
The world breeds illness of the heart, I realized, sickness and pain I can treat; nothing could be done about my weary heart.
There is no branch to rest on now, leaving only an empty desire of bettering the world.
instrumental
Before, my kindness had to be hidden; it’s no wonder it came to this.
It was all distinct as black or white, how am I to accept the absurd judgements of world?
In one day, fresh buds become flower paste, flowing with everything else into  the grime of this dusty world.
Forgive today’s insolence; I implore you all against reckless pity.
【WN】
This kindness that I held on to all these years — why is it that now, when I want to repay my debt, I can no longer find you?
Though this long chase in wind and rain is a bitter journey, I fear naught but my fade into anonymity.
【WQ】
Broken jade, ground into powder, scattered to the dust.
Whitened bones still sprout flowers, its fragrance will lead those who seek it.
If I may: how were the flowers? Spring boughs in old cities; they’re not all broken.
A sudden downpour during the night, now sparse, now thick; a song without score.
My road is long, and only now do I glimpse at its end, seeing past to the landscapes at the zenith.
The world wipes itself clean of the signs of my passing, there is no more ways to seek me.
——
【WN】
Distance smoke curls like threads; signs of life in the mountains;
a hint of a smile through the blossoms, -the spring boughs are not yet broken-
【WN】
“Jie!”
【WQ】
Under eaves blurry with rain; someone lives in this house;
with a smile, saying: -I followed the flowers’ fragrance-
I love Wen Qing so much, she’s so headstrong. The language she uses is so forceful, even quippy. By old-chinese standards, I’d say. “Though today I cannot obey orders, pity me not, fellow cultivators.”
And Wen Ning is just a precious gem. Someone write a time travel AU, go back and save him. Truly, only these two are fit to wear the sunflame robes.

Sad AF ChengXian Omegaverse AU Where WWX Probably Gets One Of The Worst Endings I’ve Ever Imagined
Basically…
Jiang Cheng and Wei Wuxian were lovers before an arranged marriage between JC and an OC broke them apart. Of course, this didn’t stop them from sneaking off together once in awhile, but one day, WWX discovered he was pregnant.
Believing JC deserved to know, he told him in private, but JC had to force himself to deny fathering the child. To admit fatherhood would be to admit being unfaithful to his principal spouse, and he couldn’t risk losing face. WWX, always the understanding man he was, just smiled and said, “Right. I must’ve gotten drunk one night and met someone.”
The unborn babe was then labeled a bastard of an unknown father.
The mother was subject to judgmental eyes wherever he went.
However, WWX wasn’t the type who wallowed in self-pity. He lived his life as he always had, even without anymore of Jiang Cheng’s secret displays of affection, and looked forward to meeting his child.
He never did. Not really.
Wei Wuxian’s labor was a hard one, and it took its toll on his body. The midwife who helped him deliver told him to rest, and then he could hold his baby once he regained his strength.
JC was allowed in the room sometime after, and he sat beside WWX, holding his hand and asking him how he felt. The midwife had left to attend to other matters, leaving the newborn babe with a wetnurse.
WWX, “J-Jiang Cheng, my baby. I want…to hold them.”
JC, sighing, “Rest for now, Wei Ying. They’ll be here when you wake up. You can hold them all you want after you rest.”
WWX’s eyes became wet with tears, he looked as though he were desperate, but he insisted no more, like he lost the energy in a flash. Instead he said, “A-Cheng…the room’s getting…dark.”
“?!” JC watched WWX close his eyes, and he’d not open them again. He felt the hand in his go slack.
“Wei Ying?
“Wei Ying?!
“Wei Ying!”
He called his name over and over, screaming so loud that he scared everyone within the area.
It didn’t matter who arrived to check on them first. WWX was dead.
Sometime after, Jiang Cheng got to hold the child he denied. He said to himself, fighting back tears, “Wei Ying never even got to hold you, and yet here I am, having that privilege instead of him. I didn’t even accept responsibility for you.”
Unfortunately, no matter how much he wanted to do right by his newborn child and the late WWX, he couldn’t accept fatherhood. His face was too important, and the wrath of the Jiang clan would be upon the helpless babe.
