Today: Instead of going to today’s demonstrations, I went with some family members to the Tegeler See and we have visited the “Dicke Marie” (Big Marie) - presumably Berlin’s oldest tree. Today: Went to the second Kosmos Lecture by Prof. Lucht at the Humboldt University of Berlin, which is in remembrance of Alexander von Humboldt‘s famous Kosmos lecture in 1827/28 and the 250th anniversary of his birth. The lecture was very inspiring and challenging current assumptions of the anthropocene. Today: The last two days I spent some time with young inspiring people at the Global Solution Summit in Berlin, as preparation for T20/G20 summit in Japan. However, I had the feeling that the panels often weren’t solution-oriented, rather talking about obvious problems that have been stated for years. Paradigm change, at least from my point of perspective, should work differently.
