Anonymous asked: When did you fall for the princess Minako?
The question had her frowning, both at just how presumptuous it was and also in confusion over just what was being asked.
"Fall for the Princess...? If you mean when I realized that I had to protect her no matter what..." Her voice drifted off for a moment as long-forgotten memories started to come flooding back. Phantom Ace. Danburite.
Adonis.
"... I learned very early on that the Princess and my duty to her was all that mattered. Nothing else will ever come close."

Anonymous asked: Minako who's a bigger Nagger, Artemis or Luna
It took a moment for the question to fully register.
"That's a... good question!" And if that was a note of slight stress in her voice - no, it wasn't there, she wasn't nervous about the thought of either feline overhearing here and condemning her to a fate worse than death if they were labelled as the worst one.
"I don't think either of them are. They don't nag. They just like to make sure their charges always are on top of their duties. If we hadn't been such absent-minded teenage girls, they never would have needed to do anything."

Anonymous asked: Gay or Lunarian? Its hard to guarantee is she gay or lunarian?
The question was more than a little confusing for the Princess, and she found herself letting her head slowly cant to the side as she blinked. Slowly. Once, then twice.
"-- Technically, I'm not Lunarian." She might have lived at the court of the Moon Palace, but she was from Venus. Vesuvian, then?

Venus had long ago accepted that she wasn't going to be getting any help when it came to her decision to patrol the streets at night. The other girls were back in Tokyo - or wherever their lives had taken them after graduation. Their paths had split apart though, and while it wouldn't be forever it would be for now. Each of them had to learn to grow on their own and experience life beyond their duty to their Princess.
Truly embracing that would have meant putting down the mantle of Venus for a little while too, something that she was just simply not doing, even if it came to the detriment of herself.
The creature lunged, but before being able to actually reach her something slammed into it, sending it flying back. She had been braced to take the blow, arms held up in front of her upper body and face to absorb the shock, but nothing came. Instead for found herself blinking, slowly lowering them as she took in the new sight.
Werewolf in London? Why did that sound like the name of some old movie to her?
She had never expected to get help, and especially not from a strange man. Maybe once upon a time she had dreamed about her own Tuxedo Kamen, but those dreams had died with Adonis' curse on her. Despite being the warrior of Love, it was never going to be something she could find; better to forget about it and focus on her duty.
"Werewolf?" Focus on that. Blue eyes narrowed as her gaze shifted from the man to the creature that was slowly getting back to its feet. "What do you mean? Like, the whole supernatural, turns under a full moon-"
Her head snapped up toward the sky. Son of a- There it was. Full and gleaming down, a bright beacon in the otherwise dark night sky with the stars blotted out from the lights of the city.
If only Sailor Moon was here. Then the most powerful silver 'thing' ever would be available. Unfortunately, there wasn't anything that Venus herself carried on her - though after a moment she stretched out her right arm, hand closing over the forming shape of a sword. The blade seemed to shine as if filled with the power of moonlight itself, or perhaps that of something silver.
"All I have is a blade that's touched silver. And if this thing if a werewolf, then it's an actual person? Not just, not a monster?"
Their conversation would have to end soon, as the beast shook itself free of the dust and rumble before letting out another roar.
The beast's snarls echoed through the narrow alley, the scent of blood thick in the air and the vampire had heard the commotion from blocks away, preternatural senses pulling him toward the source. As he arrived at the scene, he took in the sight—a blonde woman in a striking uniform holding her own against a monstrous werewolf, though her strength was clearly waning.
The werewolf let out a furious roar, muscles coiling as it prepared to charge again. Though Sailor Venus' held chain taut between her hands, and had expertly set a trap to trip the beast, the creature was faster. With a snarl, it lunged high into the air, easily vaulting over her love me chain.
The beast sailed toward her, its claws outstretched. But before it could reach her, something collided with it mid-air—a blur of black and white. The vampire crashed into the werewolf with immense force, his body moving faster than the human eye could follow. With an inhuman hiss akin to the sound of a Tiger meeting a Snake if once could imagine, James hurled the werewolf . Grabbing the mighty candid by the throat before tossing him down to the cobblestone.
The werewolf hit the cobblestones with a bone-rattling thud, dazed but still growling in rage. "Perhaps you didn't hear. The lady said DOWN MONGREL!"
The vampire turned back to the blonde senshi of love and beauty. The moment his feet touched pavement, he knelt beside her. Beautiful vibrant green eyes scanning for serious injuries. “Are you alright, miss?” he questioned, his voice clearly concerned. Her very own 'Tuxedo Kamen' minus the mask, but he was very much in a finely tailored business suit. Brown hair pulled back into a pony tail.
Up close, she was clearly no ordinary woman, and something in her presence intrigued him—she was a fighter, but wolves were wild and gory. He'd stay until this threat retreated or was slain.
"A werewolf, of all things right here in London." The Brits tone was posh, controlled, a low rumble "They can be quite persistent, I must admit. But they're not invincible. I ah …don't suppose you … have anything of pure silver on your person, do you?"

"And I'm telling you, you're crazy if you think that."
This was probably one of the least productive ways that Minako could have been spending her free time. She had needed to pick up just a few things from the store to help with dinner for the night - something she was making for herself, so it wasn't like she had to hurry back home to make sure someone else was able to eat.
Maybe she was just going a little stir-crazy after moving away out of Tokyo though. It would explain why she had latched onto such a silly, nothing argument with a stranger, and why she was willing to take time out to sit down and 'talk' it out.
"If by taste you mean sear your tongue off so you can taste nothing then yes, you're absolutely correct that spicy ramen is better for that." Minako let out a little scoff as she sat back in her chair, arms crossing over her chest. "What can you even actually taste when your mouth is on fire? Nothing."

@bunheadusako asked: ❛❛ Promise that you won’t leave me. You have to. ❜❜
Usagi's words were very, very-- her. Earnest and forward and putting her heart on her sleeve with no regard or worry about looking silly, foolish, or clingy. And coming from almost anyone else, it would have been off-putting.
But from Usagi, it was just simply and entirely her.
"I can't ever leave you? Ever?" Minako knew what her Princess meant, but she still found herself grinning gently as she lightly nudged her with her elbow. "You're going to regret asking that the next time you're on a date with Mamoru. 'Oh, Mamo-chan, I'm so happy to see you here!... And Minako, I'm glad you're watching us too.'" The last part was said in a slightly higher pitch, tone breathy and dramatic as a hand was pressed to her forehead.
"'This night together beneath the stars is so perfect for all... three of us.";

@featherchan asked: FAMILY TASTES LIKE HONEY | ❛❛ Promise that you won’t leave me. You have to. ❜❜ / Rei n Minako
Her flight taking her out of the country was tomorrow and, in typical fashion of the group, they were sending her off with a slumber party. The location was Rei's temple (where else would they find enough room), Makoto had baked and cooked everything they ate, Usagi had decorated (or tried to, likely butting heads with Rei the entire time), and Ami had planned it all out.
The day had been wonderful, and even when it melted into the evening Minako had still felt fine. One by one the girls had fallen asleep after saying soft words about how they would awaken to see her off. Her flight was early in the morning, departing at six, which would mean she'd have to be up and gone before the sun even rose. An early night's rest was best for all of them.
And yet, as each girl slowly drifted off, Minako herself found she couldn't.
She had known it wouldn't come easily, and instead of trying in earnest Minako had simply rested on her sleeping bag until she was certain she was the only one left awake. From there, it was just a matter of quietly getting up and padding out to slowly opening the sliding door to the porch. The air outside was cool but not yet chilly, making it comfortable to stay out and watch the stars.
Hearing Rei's sudden question had her drawing in a sharp breath of air. Minako found she wasn't surprised, not entire, but there was a jolt of adrenaline all the same. Blue eyes widen as her head snapped over to look at her friend - hadn't she been asleep as well? Though out of all of them, it would be just like Rei to have the same thoughts in mind as Minako over how she would be spending this night.
"Rei." Minako spoke her name softly, unsure what else to say at first. "... I mean, I... I'm not leaving you. I'm not leaving of you. I'm just heading to school. I'll be back." And she smiled, though there was something sour about the expression that she couldn't fully push past.

@bunheadusako asked: ❛ tousle . mess playfully with my muse’s hair .
She had been idly flipping through a comic book that she had recently purchased (despite Ami's best efforts, Minako's preferred form of reading still came with pictures) when she felt light and deft hands start to play with the ends of her hair. Considering how long her hair was, it wasn't really an unfamiliar sensation; she found herself chastising young boys a plenty for not understanding they needed to keep their hands to themselves.
But considering that this was happening in the privacy of Usagi's bedroom, it didn't seem quite... right to assume there was some nefarious stranger behind it.
Minako glanced over her shoulder to see Usagi there. "Are you trying to start to learn how to braid hair now?" she asked, teasing the other gently.

There would never be an end to the forces of chaos that wanted to try to take the life of innocents. Even in another city far away from Tokyo, Minako had found herself unable to let the identity of Venus fall to the wayside; too many people were getting hurt that she could save. The monsters might not have been trying to get the power of the Silver Crystal, but that didn't make it any less of her responsibility to look after them.
Fighting on her own certainly did make her miss when she used to be able to fight with the other senshi, though. Not that she couldn't -- but it was a lot harder now that she in Europe.
A hiss of pain escaped her as she found herself tossed back, slamming against the side of a building before rolling to the ground. Her heels shifted against the ground as Venus moved to right herself almost immediately, but a swipe from the creature's paw almost sent her flying back again. This thing was-- way stronger than what she was used to, and she couldn't feel anything radiating off of it that would hint to any sort of dark energy origin. Really, if she had to given voice to what it seemed to look like, she would say it almost resembled some sort of... werewolf.
It didn't mean she couldn't beat it, but it certainly left her feeling like her powers weren't going to be cutting it here.
"Could you just-- back-- off!" With a grunt she kicked one leg out, her heel digging straight into the creature's abdomen. It only stumbled back, but that was enough to give her space to jump back, her chain slipping into her hands. As it charged again she whipped it out, catching the end around the base of a light pole just a few feet away before jumping to the side, stretching the chain tight to trip the beast.
Getting one up on it was nice and all, but she needed to find a way to get it to stop. To kill it. Though... the thought didn't sit entirely right with her.

The Prince was doing a passable job of acting like he wasn't completely lovesick, but all it had taken was just a few words from Minako to completely shatter that illusion. Maybe it was mean of her to see so proud of herself, but she found herself grinning as he suddenly flushed and seemed to verbally backpedal, something that was made even more amusing due to them having never spoken before.
She wasn't from around here, after all. A visiting Princess from another land. Details were kept vague in order to make sure she never stumbled over her story and told two people something that would contradict, and no one ever really saw any reason to contradict the claims of the beautiful Princess.
It helped that most people found themselves unable to really think clearly after meeting her.
"So you deny that then?" Brow arched ever so slightly to add emphasis to her words. Minako stared at him for a moment longer before relenting. "That's quite a shame. Even warriors need to feel loved. And from the reputation I've heard, I'm surprised you don't have ladies banging at your door."
Unless it wasn't ladies he preferred.
She's much shorter than him but doesn't seem at all put off by the near-foot difference in their height. She's dressed in the same fancy gowns of any other noble women of Sanbreque, though it seems oddly out of place on her. She should have known better than to stare so boldly at the Prince but she did all the same, lips curved into something between a smile and a smirk. "-- You look like a man with love in his heart." || @crescentbeambarrage
Dion had met many strange people in his life, but this woman had to be one of strangest. He rarely met people with hair even blonder than his own light-aether bleached hair . This woman also had a sort of air about her that e couldn't quite place.
And she smirked at him and said the strangest thing. It immediately made him flush. "W-what are you talking about? I have no idea what you're talking about." He denied it just a little too vehemently.

"Graduation is coming up soon..."
It was a topic that no one ever really wanted to actually talk about. Even Ami, girl genius who likely already had a confirmed full-ride from any university she wanted to attend, got quiet whenever the topic shifted to post high-school. Everyone was firmly set to graduate, something that may not have been the case if they hadn't all met - and there was something bittersweet about that. it wouldn't be long before they were no longer all bound together through school.
They would always be friends. Having knowledge of the future made that absolutely guaranteed. But would it be the same as seeing each other every day? Waking up and just knowing you were going to be able to see the people that mattered most to you. Things were never going to be the same and part of her felt like she hadn't taken advantage of the time they did have.
She could do her best to start now.
"Usagi, what are your plans this weekend?" She glanced over at the other blonde, doing her best to keep her tone bright and chipper as they walked. Going home after school to Usagi's house was just natural now, and better there than going home to deal with her own mother.

She had been away from Tokyo for almost a year now, and it was strange to find herself feeling almost like an outsider as she stepped off the plane and into the terminal. This was her home, was a place she had grown up in. She still knew it like the back of her hand, and yet--
There was a question heavy in the back of her mind. Was she still welcomed here?
Her outfit, a simple red dress with a black belt and jacket, felt suddenly like it was far too showy. Her red ribbon wasn't gone, though she had taken to keep her hair braided more often just to keep it out of the way, and currently that was what hung over her shoulder.
She had been told that someone would be by to pick her up from the airport, but would they even recognize her now?
-- there were the questions and worries that swirled through her mind as the young woman slowly walked out of the airport and to the waiting terminal. It wasn't like she could just call herself a ride if no one was here, though then the only place she'd have to go would be her parents house and she... may have forgotten to tell her mother she was coming home for her break.

Being strong and independent and capable of being on her own was a point of pride for Minako. Graduating highschool may have happened with her skating by on the skin of her teeth, but she had graduated - and from there, despite the expectations of many (including herself), she had gotten into university. Ami and Rei both had been expected to do so, and Makoto probably was going to attempt some prestigious culinary college, and Usako would start her domestic life with Mamoru while Minako began her idol career.
Except that wasn't what happened.
She had applied to the small university in the Netherlands on a whim, mostly expect to be denied, and instead found herself accepted. What followed next was several whirlwind months of figuring out what she needed to pack, getting herself set up with room and board, and then the eventual move.
'It's not permanent. I'll come and visit. You guys can visit too!' All words she said before getting on the plane, and each statement felt flatter than the last. They were all true of course, but...
But part of her felt like she was lying. That even if she meant it, something was going to be irrevocably changed between them and that her leaving was just the start of the distance that would grow between the five of them. After all, for years now it had been just them: Usagi, Ami, Rei, Makoto, and her. Sailor Moon and her inner warriors. The Princess and her protectors. So much of who Minako even was had been built around protecting her Princess, and now she was going to be on her own.
Days turned to weeks turned to months. First one, then another. She had talked with everyone often enough, but it wasn't like any of them could afford to just hop on a plane to visit her, and she couldn't do so in the middle of a semester either. Most people couldn't. But...

The tiny little ball of light had thought she was being beyond clever with the way she was tracking the Princess. She made sure to only dart forward and move whenever the other's gaze was forward, which meant that there was no possible way that she could have noticed the zipping orb behind her. And most people hardly paid any attention to the fairies, let alone seemed actively aware of their existence.
It was the perfect plan! Absolutely fool proof! And fool proof enough to allow her to get close, close enough to practically rest against the Princess' shoulder...
Hmm. Her plan had been solid, but now that she was here the fae realized she had never thought of the second half of this plan. The now what portion.

Right-- She was no longer her Princess, but her Queen. Certain habits did die hard, and she had spent so long being determined to protect her Princess that it felt like it was always on the tip of her tongue to refer to the Queen as such. Even when she had just been Usagi, she had still been Minako's dearest Princess, the one that she would have given life and limb to protect.
And hadn't she? How many times had she died all in the name of ensuring the safety of the Princess, now Neo-Queen, Serenity? Not that she was truly keeping track, and not that it would have mattered. Minako, the Princess of Venus, would gladly give her life up again and again if that meant securing the safety of her Queen and the future of their people.
She wasn't trying to put on airs and act like there was suddenly distance between them. It was simply what felt... if not natural, then perhaps right considering the difference of their stations. And to be called on it so swiftly and bluntly was more than just a little embarrassing.
"Queen-- Usagi-chan." Her cheeks colored slightly at the affectionate nickname. It was one that both Usagi and Chibi-Usa used for her. A term of endearment that was both dear to her heart, and one that Minako would have thought them to outgrow long ago. There was something sweet about it, even if it felt inappropriate to hear her Queen saying it.
"You are, of course." And she gave a stiff nod that was a poor attempt to not bow to the other. "Normally you would inform us of your intentions, though. We can't very well keep our Queen safe if you run off without a word."
If a walk was what Usagi was looking for, though, then Minako would gladly oblige.
With Chibiusa away at school and Mamoru — now Endymion she supposed — tending to his own kingly duties, Usagi was granted one of those rare moments of free time, which came few and far between these days.
Tokyo had changed so much in the last hundred plus years, since the day she’d given birth to Chibiusa and ascended the throne as Neo-Queen Serenity, Queen of Crystal Tokyo. Despite everything that had changed, from the appearance of Tokyo to the long lifespans with improved health and near eternal youth for its citizens, there were still a few things that remained the same.
The senshi were one of those constants — particularly the inner senshi. Despite everything that had happened in the last century, they remained by her side, loyal as ever to both her and their home.
Deciding fresh air would be pleasant, the queen set out for a stroll, her long, snow white hair billowing behind her in the breeze. The wind was a gentle caress against her cheeks as it blew in from the bay, and the air smelled of cherry blossoms as the trees along the water had just begun to bloom. It was on this walk that the ruler of Crystal Tokyo ran across one of those constants, noting the familiar figure clad in orange and white.
Eager to see her companion, Usagi moved to approach, about to call out in greeting when Minako noticed her first, brows pulling together in concern; leave it to Minako to automatically begin jumping to conclusions. “Why must you assume something happened? Am I not allowed to go for a walk? Or enjoy the company of my friends when I see them?” The words were spoken with a sigh as the royal gave a shake of her head, moving into place so she could walk alongside the senshi of love and beauty.
“And would you stop calling me that? I understand doing it in front of others, but when it’s just us? I’m still me, Mina-P — I’m still your Usagi.”
