“I’m good!” Colton confessed, as he walked to one side of the couch, lifting up the end he was standing up next too. “After I’ve moved a couple of items, my mind might change, but for now I’m good,” the blonde confessed, running his hand over the material of the couch. “What room we taking this into?”

Octavian nodded moving to other end of the couch helping lift it off the floor. He huffed a sarcastic laugh at his words. “were talking it down the hall and to the first door on the left” His voice struggling as the couch lifted off the floor.

“Let’s start with the couch since it takes most of the room, and then we can gather the smaller boxes afterwards.” Colton answered, trying to think about everything logically. “It should take us long now that there is two of us working on it.”

“Sounds like a plan.” Octavian wasn’t used to socializing much, “Before we really get started did you want me to grab you something to drink?” it seemed like the right thing to ask. He was nice enough to help him after all.

“Cross my heart and hope to die,” said Bob, hands already doing the motions, “I won’t break anything.” He pointed towards the interior of the house. “D’you have anything you wanna do with the place or are you good with me just unpacking wherever? Don’t wanna mess up your rhythm here, after all.” He stepped inside, and immediately moved towards the boxes. “Is there anything I shouldn’t touch, by the way? Or is this all free game?”

“here's to hoping” he mumbled under his breath. “well if you do, its sorta like a break you buy policy here. Only the thing you buy is a replacement” He warned partially joking. “No big plan in particular, I guess just take it one step at a time.” he shrugged “No I don’t think there is anything here that is off limits. Go for it”

Colton chuckled at the other’s words and nodded his head. “Is there anything that needs lifting together? Maybe we should grab that particular item first and work on the lightest things last??”

Octavian hid a smile from the stranger looking down and nodding in response. Walking into his house. “Just my couch and dresser really. Then the rest of the stuff just needs to be dug out of boxes full of these packing peanuts”

“I was wondering if you actually wanted help with that,” Colton said. “I saw that you were busy.”

“I Normally don’t but since I’m feeling generous I’ll let you help.” In truth he really needed it. Some stuff was just to head for him to lift on his own.

“Ah, but see, I’m here to help you unpack!” said Bob. “Saw all the boxes and thought, I’d have sure appreciated it if someone helped me—so guess today’s your lucky day!” He smiled and put out his hand. “The name’s Bob, by the way, and you are…?”

“Goody me” his tone was more so sarcastic than annoyed. Leaning against the door frame he took the man hand and shook it reluctantly . “Octavian, I guess you can come in and help. Just make sure not to break anything okay?”

“This better be important I’ve got a lot of unpacking to do”

“Sounds like its time to let go of some tea sets. I mean if you don’t use half of them and they’re just collecting dust you might be better off. Not to mention the bugs that might be hanging out in the ones you don’t use.” he shuttered, even he was grossed out about the thought of finding a bug in his own tea. 

I saw the cutest little tea set when I went to the store yesterday and the logical side of my brain was screaming at me that I didn’t need yet another tea set that was just going to sit in the cupboard, but the impulsive side of my brain couldn’t help but add it to the collection. I mean, could you say no to something this cute? Please side with me, I need the validation.
