There’s something suspicious and odd about the girl looking with a red hood hiding her features, but it’s nothing so strange that he’s terribly uneasy about it. But he’s always had good instincts about people, and when she comes to sit down by him, he turns with raised brows, curious – mostly about what about him screams social.

“Good lead,” he starts sarcastically, green eyes narrowing. “So tomorrow I should come to your house and ask why everything is so tacky, right?”

FC UPDATE: I did some research and realized that a common misconception is that Sarah Jeffrey is mexican; she is in fact African American, so I’ll no longer be using her. 

Furthermore, I anyway just rewatched S1 and I caught that Carmen’s exact ethnicity is state: she’s Argentinean and I’ll be changing her fc to match that. Her older fc is now Julie Gonzalo. I’m still looking for a younger fc.

          Her head was foggy, not for the first time, and Nancy didn’t even groan as she came to, shutting her eyes tighter to ward off the sting and ache. This would be her third concussion in a year, if it was as bad as she expected it was. 

At least for once, she had an idea of who she was dealing with. “Why bother kidnapping me? You got what Revenant wanted.” She made her accusations, full of conviction, completely ignoring the woman’s questions. Really, she was just buying herself time, fingers working slowly at the bindings on her wrists, trying to feel them out.

as usual, carmen asks and player delivers. it’s amazing what one facial scan and fingerprint can dig up. however, the file he scans over is rife in blocked code; it’ll take several hours for player to get through, but there’s not a doubt in carmen’s mind that he’ll manage. until then, she has to go in... fairly blind.

The man frowned upon the young lady’s teasing, running straight at her like he’s known to do. Chase really did his name justice, if only that was enough to hunt the woman down.

As odd as that was, the man couldn’t help but to smirk at the lady’s comment about keeping on her toes, there have been times he questioned his own skill as an agent, but no matter how many failures he faces, the man is always there to chase the woman once again.

“Hah! About time you recognize me as your most capable opponent Carmen Sandiego!” With that said, the male his smile was gone once the lady made that teasing remark. 

”That description is too specific and you know it!” The man remarked as he kept chasing her through the street, getting relatively close to her. 

As much as he wouldn’t admit it, Carmen was in fact special in that regard, she is the one thief that keeps getting away from him, the one who’s always able to make him look like an incompetent buffoon, he had to get her, not just for justice, but to prove himself and everyone else that he’s still a good agent. Who knows? Perhaps Ms. Argent would finally respect him.

but that was exactly what made it so fun. carmen watched him approach with a wry smile; her eyes glittered with amusement. now that she had her hands on VILE’s treasure and could safely return it to the people of Sicily, she had some time to spare on agent devineaux. 

the closer he came, the wider her smile stretched. the man was something. not quite a threat, per se, but definitely something. what he lacked in finesse he made up for with sheer determination. he was like... a clingy boyfriend that refused to move on after a bad breakup. not that carmen herself knew anything about that. but she could imagine.
