Gaming
Whether your into Boardgames, D&D, or video games it should not be frowned upon by society. Gaming in general gets a bad rap, nerds get picked on, lots of negativity. Yes I know some of the games are graphic and violent. It doesn't make me a loser or a criminal. What about the positive effects. When I need a place to get away from the stress of reality I play a game with friends. It keeps me out of trouble, it helps me to relax, it gets my creativity going, it teaches how to work together in big groups/team skills. It has helped my memory skills, and how to read maps better. One game in particular World of Warcraft. With stories of far away lands, good versus evil, amazing art work, music that makes your heart soar. Where our lives become entwined with our character. We can learn a lot from our characters and ourselves in real life. Gamers are not lazy and dumb. We are parents, kids, teachers, artists, musicians ect... My point is even in real life we play a character. Whom are we really behind the mask? Some may think gaming is a waste of time but that can be said of anything. We can learn so much from each other and have fun doing it. So, plan a fun night with snacks and games. Appreciate the little things in life. If you play games what ones do you enjoy? Mine for example is: World of Warcraft, Scrabble, Clue, Rummicube, Jenga, Kings in the Corners, and Xbox 360 games. Atm I am trying to learn Chess. I admit I love playing games, they make me smile. But, I do not let it consume all my time either. I still make time to be a responsible parent, to help others in the community, and to do my chores and still find time to study. Time should be cherished no matter how you choose to spend it. Now, go be the best you possible. And remember to take time to smell the Roses along the way!

Appreciate all for you have something to learn from it.
I have come to realize this day and age too many people judge by what is on the outside and don't truly look at a person. I hope this helps some realize that we all deserve love, kindness, and respect. Speaking for myself personally I try to be very open minded. I try to show everyone understanding and compassion regardless of choice in religion or intimate preference, or lifestyles. We all are going through something, good or bad. As a country we need to encourage each other to be the best we can be. Hate solves nothing. I am far from perfect, I make mistakes. I have learned from them. I have met so many wonderful people and if only we will open our minds and hearts we will see how beautiful life can be even in tough times. Our pets, nature, elderly people, children, homeless people, people in general teach us alot. When you open up yr eyes abd heart you will appreciate more, learn more, and see how great it is to be alive even in a world filled with confusion and chaos at times. Joy and hope can be found. New friendships made, opportunities open up. So, when you are out and about and someone is frustrated, upset or angry. Remember kindness and prayer go a long way. Miracles begin to happen. Even if you don't have a lot of money to donate for a good cause you can offer your free time to help feed others in a soup kitchen, play with animals at shelters, sing songs with the elderly at nursing homes. Extra clothes or board games you or yr kids don't use why not donate. By helping others our own problems don't seem quite as bad. God bless you. Hugs and positive vibes.
