TL;DR??? mostly just because of how afully written of an antagonist echo girl is. Like I know you're supposed to hate her but i feel like she's. a really awful mischaracterization of what she was supposed to represent and. even then she??? didn't have to be in the route at all?? i feel like it distracted from getting to learn about zen's character on a deeper level and. really made any involvement with unknown and mint eye feel rushed too because we spend waaay too much time on.... that. instead.

the full amino post i made on it a while back is here, if you were interested in my full thoughts as well as me going on a fanfiction level brainstorm of how i feel like a character like her could have worked.

i also. hate that jaehee and jumin kinda just became broken records where you need to repeat the same interaction with them 20x over but. that's not a problem exclusive to zen's route sadly, and i think the worst example of that is how jumin turned into a full caricature during jaehee's route.

Its kinda hard to be an aroace person in most otome game fandoms but particularly in mysme fandom (atleast for me since thats the only otome game I am into).

Of course because there is alot of compallo-ness towards the characters, alot of people tend to think that a guy and a girl who have a deep relationship love each other romantically, which tends to irk me very much. I had talked about how people assuming Yoosung having romantic feelings for Rika makes me upset alot of times in the past (because besides being incestuos its also weird because Yoosung was a minor while Rika was an adult when they had first met).

Not just that I also dont like it when people imply that Jaehee and Zen love each other romantically. They both have clearly stated that they just deeply respect each other and does not have any romantic feelings. It makes me upset because it also goes back to implying that a man and a woman can only like each other romantically.

Another problem I face as an aroace person in the Mysme fandom has to do more with myself. I am quite sex repulsed most of the time and I often see Yoosung getting oversexualised which makes me quite uncomfortable. I am not really against anyone doing so because like I said, its more of a personal problem but I cant help but feel uncomfortable as fuck.

Both Yoosung and Jumin are the worst when it comes to talking during movies. Yoosung asks a load of questions and Jumin just likes to make comments and add his little thoughts. So the only solution, is to sit them next to each other so when Yoosung asks him, he's happy to oblige and explain what's happening. In turn, Yoosung likes to hear Jumins thoughts and predictions.
