(flag meaning and etymology under the cut) ☾

FLAG MEANING

The white in the middle of the flag is meant to represent the "purity" associated with angels and white rabbits, with the patterns encroaching on it meaning to represent the corruption of that "purity". The white stripes on the outside are meant to represent the rabbitkin/angelkin or the "pure" parts of ones identity peeking through the bloodier and more corrupted parts. The reds in the flag are meant to represent the bloody and corrupted parts of ones identity. The winged rabbit symbol in the middle is meant to provide a little more clarity on the meaning from first glance. And also it looks cool.

Any mention of "purity" is in quotes because i dont believe in the concept of purity, or even angels and rabbits association with that concept. It's just the closest word to the feeling i want to convey and the feeling of my gender.

the regular stripes represent various moments of restfulness during which rls is typically experienced — when one is falling asleep/trying to sleep, lying down, sitting down to relax, etc. — and the jagged stripe in the middle represents the suddenness of restless leg! i used a zigzag stripe to represent energy (and also electricity, which i associate my rls with) and made it orange, a color that can represent energy.
