Henry Jekyll:

You know him

He tried to develop a serum to eliminate the darker parts of his nature and in doing so accidentally created and alter ego for himself to fulfil the darker side of him by killing people for example. He enjoyed it for a while then started to get crushed by his guilt and tried to undo it but failed.

Drakken:

Hes the main antagonist for Kim Possible over the whole show. The man went to school with Kim's dad and it's part of his villain origin. It is never explained why he is blue.

I think that Hyde just didn’t want to sit in a lecture hall again and listen to something that he’s already learned and write a whole new doctoral thesis when he’s already done at least two. Why sit in class when you could do those unexplained vices? But yeah, your theory works.

I love how it’s “The Strange Case of Doctor Jekyll and MISTER Hyde” as in, yeah, they are basically two sides of the same person but only ONE has a doctorate

While sitting in my bed, I have discovered a breakthrough on what I want to do with the characters in my story—

Address how the Victorian Era affected people who were considered outcasts.

I’ma gonna have to do a LOT of research to insure that I address all this stuff properly, but it feels nice to finally figure out what I’m gonna do with the story! If anyone has any resources or wants to be a beta reader, just let me know!

Snippet of Story From The complicated DnD plot

I've ran this by a few of my lovely mutuals and they liked it. I might share more if people like! I'm not the most confident in my writing but here we go!!

Before we get started, this is self indulgent, it's not really compliant to any Canon ever and has ocs so uh- yeah.

Story under break!! (Part one of idk how many it will take to post this in its not entire whole)

Henry Jekyll was a smart man, a scholar of high esteem, and a man of science. Someone who usually wasn't susceptible to childish mockeries, the whispers of Waterdeep's elite were above him. Whatever they had to say was heard once before, bound to be said again, so why should he bother listening? It was always the same thing: He was a madman. His work would drive him to an early grave, and his pride would be his folly.His folly. Dr. Henry Jekyll was many things: a man of many talents. But a man so blinded by his ego would he seal his fate? Impossible! Or at least he thought.In a small corner of Waterdeep's library, lay an unused closet that hadn't been touched by staff in years. Inside was the soft rustling of parchment, the sound of glass clinking together and the low bubble of water.

The quarters were dimly lit by candlelight, and the scent of wax and burning incense practically smothered the place. Hundreds of “borrowed” books were scattered across the measly little desk. Pages yellowed with age curled at the edges as if scorched by careless, exhausted fingers. The workplace of Dr. Jekyll. It wasn't much, using whatever scraps of material he could find throughout campus and his supplies from his schooling. But it was enough to satisfy his desire to create.

The young scholar sat hunched over his work, hands flipping through pages of text with increasing desperation. His dark brown curls lay sloppily over his head, masking his distressed russet eyes. He needed a breakthrough and one fast. Jekyll was known as a man of ambition, a prodigy, the professors of Waterdeep called him a master of the arcane arts before he even was of age. But for all his talents, he was still a man. One with flaws, desires, and weaknesses.

That’s it.

At that very moment, it hit him what the problem was. His desires clouded his mind, threatened his reason, and crushed any semblance of order he so desperately clung to. He longed to be pure, to be whole without the creeping hunger that festered in his heart. And so, he shoved his previous textbook aside, beginning to rummage through every article he possessed for some guideline. A single spark that would get this concept rolling into a possible idea. Just how possible was it to cleanse a man of his impurities? Not just through the findings of god or whatever wishwash preachers would cry on their way through the city. No, this would be real, true separation. A split between the duality of one’s soul, in hopes of becoming truly good.

What exactly that meant to Henry, he was unsure.
