IMPORTANT: help disability father 🦽get insulin.

Now over 6 months my unemployment still pending because of bad accident that caused me being disability .This has been the worst couple of years of my life. My house was destroyed in a storm . Now  I am desperately in need for help. I need my insulin to bring my blood sugar back down. It’s $300 That’s all I need. I’m not asking for a windfall, just a little help, please.

What are the origins of Yurf? I keep seeing them pop up in your ytps. I think they're v silly but I wanna know where they came from

Yurf first appeared in The Bat Is in a Sack - Upon hearing the phrase "And even your friends" from the source video, I thought it'd be funny to cut it off early and create a nonsense word in the process "And even yurf--". I had done this kind of joke before (for example, "The toaster pastry doughf" from WIM 3) but this time I wanted a visual to go with it. So I imagined what the word Yurf could mean, and my first thought was that it could be the name of a gnome or something.

I didn't want Yurf to be a gnome necessarily, just to vaguely give the vibe of one. To that end I added some elements to make Yurf distinct - namely the double-pointed hat, mittens, lack-of visible nose, and the lipstick.

After I had found excuses to throw Yurf jokes into other videos like Guns & Ropeses and Thing of Da Hill it became apparent that this character would be a recurring bit - so I commissioned my pal @dukeofash to bring the design to life further, and as usual he nailed it! You can see in the attached image the alternate design I sometimes use which takes heavy inspiration from Duke's version.

Yurf is kinda everything-ambiguous and I prefer it that way. Yurf is a stand-in for any time a sentence is said about an object or concept, but would be made funnier if it were about a silly lil' blorbo instead. There isn't much to know about what Yurf is "like" or "about" - just that they're happy to be included!

I think it's funny and awesome that my intention was to create a character that looked unique enough that nobody would mistake it for being a reference to anything else - but in doing so I instead created a character that everyone initially thinks is some outside reference they can't quite place.

I’m entering my danganronpa phase again, so i decided to finally draw a really old idea I had based on the fact that the highschool that Kirumi Tojo is apparently from, is in fact a Kamen Rider Fourze reference. And Fourze is like, one of my favorite shows of all time, so I simply just did the math on this.

I don’t usually post sketches or unfinished art however I admit this one was kind of low effort, and I wasn’t certain if I wanted to go all in for this despite loving the idea in my head, as I got other things to focus on. But maybe if people really like this i’ll finish it, we’ll see.

i wanted to do a full illustration for my build dnd au, and here it is!! don't have much else to say tbh, other than i had a lot of fun doin it! it was really a labor of love ;w;

annette is so often overlooked because she's bubbly. she's energetic and happy and whimsical in a way the others aren't, and so her pain is overlooked.

but look at how distraught she gets whenever she does something wrong, or she forgets something. in her supports with byleth, she's so disappointed in herself for missing training. in her supports with dedue, she's distressed when dedue has to help her clean up and make dinner. she hates letting people down, she hates failing, she always strives to be better, and that is how her trauma manifests.

her father left her, and so she assumed it was because she wasn't good enough. so she worked, and worked, and worked, and he still didn't want anything to do with her - and she twisted it to think that it was because she didn't work hard enough. so she continues to throw herself into her work, throw herself into her studies, until maybe, just maybe, she'll be good enough.

but it's quiet. it doesn't manifest in hurting other people, or insulting them, or otherwise being an outward jerk. it manifests in her helping everyone wherever she can, because maybe then she'll be nice enough. it manifests in her studying late into the night, because maybe then she'll be smart enough. it manifests in her training every moment she can squeeze in, because maybe then she'll be strong enough. just look at the juxtaposition between her heroes relic and her class - she covers all bases, unique bases, pushes herself harder and stronger, because that way she doesn't have room for the thoughts, and she's growing alongside that. and maybe then, after all that is said and done, after she's mastered all the things that could possibly make someone love and appreciate her, she'll eventually be enough.

AITA for trying to clean up my room?

So, I (M) have been planning to clean up my room for a loooooong while, now. But there's snails everywhere in my room, and I don't really like doing all the hard work. So, I found a way to make the snails fight each other to the death, meaning I take care of my little pest problem and I don't have to clean up as much! Clever, right?

Except recently, the snails haven't been fighting each other. They've been getting along! Boring!! And that means my room isn't cleaned!

So, I decided to give them another little push. I got some of my friends (3— I mean 4 of them M, 1 F) to come help me clean my room, but this one group of snails keep getting in the way!!

So I decided to kick things up a notch. Y'see, I actually made one of these snails (M), specifically for the purpose of helping me clean up. But he's been fighting against me, so I decided to reveal what he is and force him to help me clean up! Sure that seems like an asshole move, but he's my spawn, so he has to do what I say! That's how it works!

Except, he still managed to rebel against me! Totally unfair!!!

At this point, I've been letting my friends do most of the work, but I might start pitching in more now. Otherwise the place might not get cleaned up for another 2000 years, and I really don't like a messy room. AITA?
