I made a delicious spicy soup for dinner last night and the whole thing was only 47 cals, but it was so big you could split it into 2 servings/meals at 23 cals each if you want to!
ingredients:
โข 4 cups water
โข 1 chicken bouillon cube (5cal)
โข spice blend: 1/2tsp turmeric, 1/2tsp ginger, 1/2tsp paprika, 1/2tsp chili powder, 1/2tsp umami, and a pinch of cayenne pepper (12 cals)
โข 1tbsp cornstarch (30cals)
โข bring the water to a boil, add the bouillon cube and spices and reduce the heat, simmer for 15 mins, and enjoy!
I added the cornstarch to thicken the soup but it didn't even work lol so I won't be doing that next time which will make the soup even lower calorie (22 cals)
you could adjust the spices to your liking and even add veggies or low cal noodles to the soup if you want it to be more filling but that would add to the cals and I think its perfect on its own.
ยท 30g rice - 130 kcal (depends on variety, for reference i used regular white rice)
ยท 80g frozen broccoli - 23 kcal
ยท 80g frozen peas - 65 kcal
ยท 80g frozen green beans - 25 kcal
ยท 2 tsp. sriracha sauce (or to taste) - 10 kcal
ยท salt, pepper, and epazote - 0 kcal
cook the veggies and rice in boiling water, drain and add sauce. that's literally it, i got 2 servings out of it but even if you have the whole thing (which is really filling) you're only having 231 kcal.

This is a reward for having suffered at an unhappy weight. We deserve the right to do what we want with our bodies just as much as anyone else. I think it looks lovely. Shes dipping it in coffee, putting high protein low cal yogurt in it, and sprinkling cocoa powder on it. It aint that scary.
hollow cheeks and the quiet aching of oneโs stomach, cold dead winter, subsisting on cigarettes and coffee, insomnia, empty kitchen cabinets, clementine peels, layers upon layers, feverishly writing daily chronicles, epiphanies in the middle of the night (the kind that starving intensifies and sharpens), cold ink/paint-stained fingers warmed by a cup of tea, blouses too big hanging on a withered and (dare I say) malnourished frame
