Imaginary Friends
Kits having imaginary friends is actually quite common! Especially if they're an only child or don't have many actual friends.
It only gets concerning if the imaginary friend stays well into apprenticehood (after 9 moons), or, arguably worse, shares a name with a dead clanmember.
Most (normal) imaginary friends end up having a funny sounding name, seeing as a kit's mind thought of it, usually named after colors or nonsensical warrior names (like Footface, or something).
But the imaginary friends who share a little too much with the kit, things the kit should have no way of knowing? Something's wrong.

Howdy! I was wondering your thoughts on a what if?
What if: Alderheart became a warrior, who would be the next med cat?
Hello! Sadly I haven’t read the books up to where Alderheart is introduced 😭 so I don’t think I can give a proper answer.

Executions
Back again with the darker themes! This time we cover the topic of executions!
CW/TW: talks of execution,
So, normally in Warriors, when a cat is outed for murder or other such heinous crimes, they’re usually shunned by the clan and treated as a prisoner, or straight up exiled from the territory.
But, as we see with, for example, Tigerclaw, that only leads to a bigger threat being formed.
But what if the clans took these crimes and did them equal justice?
Naturally, it would make sense to execute a murderer should they pose a serious threat to the clan. It could be a public execution, guided by the leader and carried out by the clan’s designated Executioner(s).
The cats with this role would be trained rigorously, expected to take down any cat within, or even outside, the clan. Even other Executioners if needed.
After all, it doesn’t hurt to have multiple in case one goes rogue.

Hi! Been a hot minute hasn't it? I've been in hell, living in a hotel since July with my parents, but enough about me, I've got three new roles from one of my fanclans to share!
These roles come from a more advanced setting. Funnily enough, these three roles also all go paw in paw with each other.
Fire Master
The fire master has learned the ins and outs of keeping flames in a controlled space, in order to cook prey with it. While in my clans' universe, where they figured the method out on their own (humans have not been seen for many, many moons. think apocalypse but only for humans), your cats could have observed the humans encasing the fire in a ring of stones as a way of controlling it. I remember reading a post once here on tumblr about how cooked food can be beneficial to cats. The clancats over time have learned that cooking their prey can get rid of parasites, unwanted bacteria or diseases, like worms or salmonella(which for cats, is referred to as Songbird Fever).
Gatherer
Basically a step between Medicine Cat and Hunter, Gatherer's join either herb or hunting patrols to lend extra paws in carrying capacity. This can become even more useful when you take into account the Crafts-Cat role.
Crafts-Cat
A Crafts-Cat will often take the unneeded skins of prey from the Fire Masters, drying them out and using the toughened hides to craft all sorts of things. Whether it's bags made to tie around the belly of a Gatherer, or armor for the clan's hard working Warriors, the role of a Crafts-Cat is an important one.

I'm trying to sleep but suddenly got plagued by a vision for a cool WC ceremony idea and had to write it down
What if a new leader, before or after getting their 9 lives, had to undergo a sort of ritualistic "cleansing" by being "anointed" by holy "stardust?" The dust in question being tied to the way the previous leader lost their final life;
Fire = Anointment by ash
Sickness = Anointment by pollen
Murder = Anointment by blood
Drowning = Anointment by water
Etc
Something about needing to "wash" the new set of lives, so they can shine unmarred by the misfortune of the previous star. Could also get combined with the funeral for the old leader-- maybe as a sort of Clanwide blessing before the deputy goes to get their lives.
Perhaps even turning into an annual celebration for that particular leader, used to remind the other Clans that they've ruled for another full turn of the seasons. A way to flex their Clan's support and their shared achievements.

So I’ve been working on my fanclans (please I have over ten at this point) but the ones I’ve been working on are set in my home state. Anyways, I’ve been thinking of adding something I’m calling “The Murk”. (Yall can use this idea too!)
I envision it as a black pool of water. And with a quick google search, google tells me that black water is usually toilet waste. Yuck!
But lets set that knowledge aside, cause this is honestly a fantasy setting.
So, this black water, or The Murk, is commonly identified by its black, almost tar-like look. But it’s not thick or sticky like tar, it moves and feels like regular water. Sometimes, you can see the stars and moon dimly reflected in the inky liquid.
Cats are naturally superstitious of The Murk, as any cat who has fallen in has never come back out alive.
Rumors spread each time a cat is lost to The Murk, that they’re forever trapped in the water, ghostly fur drenched and expression forever sad and desperate.
In my clans, their gathering spot is in the middle of a large lake of The Murk, where they use various stones or fallen logs to cross over. Now the Starclan meeting place? It’s under The Murk (access is found from the gathering spot, so no, they don’t swim in The Murk to contact Starclan). When cats are lost to The Murk, they’re often said to be so close yet so far from their ancestors.

Friendly Dog
I feel like a lot of dogs introduced into Warrior Cats are only a threat to the cats, but there’s definitely dogs that are friendly to cats out there!
Imagine a kittypet joining the clan, and later on their dog companion finds them and is just overjoyed at all the other cat friends they can make!
Of course, the clan is apprehensive, it’s a big dog after all. But when that big, friendly dog protects young ones from an aggressive dog? Or a different predator?
The clan is all for letting the former Kittypets friend stay.
How would your clan react? Would they still welcome the kittypet and their dog friend? Would they turn them away?
Would they try training the dog to hunt with them? To fight with them? How would your other clan react to this?

I’ll be away for a bit, lost my cat a couple nights ago.
She got sick and constipated, and nothing we did helped and in the end she died.

Cannibalism
Starting off with cannibalism for the darker themed warriors ramblings! As this is a dark themed ramble, everything potentially triggering will be under a read more!
TW/CW: talks of cannibalism,
So, what would make a cat or clan resort to cannibalism? Lack of prey or other food options.
Now, would they turn on their fellow clanmates, or attack enemy patrols? Or would they leave their territory and go be with Twolegs?
Some more evil characters may eat their clanmates in secret, catching them alone in the territory. Others, perhaps those higher in power, may convince the clan to eat the clanmates that fall in battle or from age.
Either way you go, cannibalism is a dark prospect. The other clans may shun the cannibalistic clan, or drive them away. Individual cats may be chased, exiled, or even killed to prevent further attacks on the clan.

Do you think things like fever coats in kittens would develop a bit of a superstition?
Oh interesting! Had to look up what a Fever Coat (or Stress Coat) was, and it’s really interesting to read about! Here’s a screenshot from this link.

I can see some cats having a superstition that fever coat kits are weaker, even if they’re completely fine!
Maybe certain leaders will hold fever coat kits back in training, not letting them become apprentices until a moon or two later.
Mothers who fuss and worry over the fever coat kits more than their other children, afraid bad things will happen to them if left alone.
Even when the fever coat condition has fixed itself, these superstitions persist.

Superstitions
Over the years clans would develop superstitions about, pretty much anything, but here’s some fun ones.
Pelt Color and/or Patterns
Is there a certain pelt pattern or color that your clans is superstitious of? Mayhaps any kits born with that certain pelt is thrown out or given away. Perhaps your clan avoids those with this certain pelt.
Certain Prey
Certain prey can also be a superstition! Say there’s a prey type that your clan reveres or avoids, would they avoid eating that prey? Or would they want to hunt it down to near extinction?
Weather
Is there a weather type that your clan believes to be an omen or miracle? Perhaps rain is a welcome weather, or maybe it signals something worse on the horizon.
Fever Coats

Tempted to make a section for darker themed ramblings (like cannibalism)
Just not sure if I should or not, seeing as some ppl wouldn’t be ok with those darker themes.
I’d obviously give warnings and put any potentially triggering topics under a read more, but what y’all think?

Imprisonment
How would your clan(s) handle prisoners? Obviously there’s a separate den with guards stationed out front, but what if they went an extra mile?
Ties
Using strong vines or other such material to bind the prisoners feet together is another way to keep them from escaping
Forced Work
Perhaps your clan makes its prisoners work for them around camp? Like upkeeping den walls and cleaning the dirtplace (while under watch of course)

Aurora Borealis
How would your clan react to seeing northern lights? Would they consider it a sign or symbol of Starclan?
Would kits born under these lights be treated differently?
What about the color of the lights? Would your clan(s) treat the lights differently depending on the color?
