I think there is a big difference between a kind friendly joke and a clearly unkind mockery, although it seems that for these individuals this difference simply does not exist.

These attention seekers need to pay a closer attention to their life, as you rightly said. I guess there is something deeply wrong there if they try to have fun by making other people unhappy and projecting their problems/insecurities on others. These folks just need to find the right way to get dopamine, and making fun of other people is definitely not one of them.

Completely agree! Good natured ribbing is vastly different from what these people are doing; it’s clearly meant to hurt people. They may think we’re cringe, but they’re mean and that is way worse.

I noticed that suddenly in Resident evil village fandom out of nowhere activated rather aggressive "Heisenberg leaves you for a man" people. Who the hell even made up this new trend? Where did it come from?

Yep, I’ve noticed this too. It’s sooo dumb, right? I have no idea what sewer all of these people suddenly crawled out of but it’s pretty jarring to go into the tags just looking for content of your favorite stinky old man and suddenly get smacked in the face with post after post about how your OC is stupid or you’re a delusional idiot for liking a fictional guy. Like I mentioned in my previous grumblings about this, you can’t even challenge these people because then they’ll be like “oh my godddd it’s just a jooooke why are you so weird about it” as if they aren’t the ones clearly bothered by and investing energy in “the wrong people” playing with their Blorbos. 🙄 Going out of your way to mock people in a highly visible place isn’t the flex you think it is. Get better jokes, losers.

I’m not on TikTok or anything but I think someone else recently told me it’s some kind of pathetic little meme that people are doing over there that’s bled over. It’s really, really disheartening because if you were around in 2021 when the game was at peak popularity you’ll remember people did this back then too and people literally were doxxed for “wrong” headcanons. I thought we were beyond all this and all coexisting peacefully but I guess not!

Anyway. These people need to get a life. People can think however they want but it’s gross to spend your time trying to target and bully folks (specifically women, it seems) for having fun. I would never post anything mocking people for liking the popular fandom ship but for some reason it’s okay to do this??? Make it make sense. Still plenty of folks like us around though who aren’t lame, at least! If anyone needs to vent about this I’m definitely here to listen.
