A savvy great tit/talgoxe seizes a golden opportunity during a sleepy moment for the pregnant roe deer/rådjur. Little did the roe deer know, a feathered architect was on a mission for luxurious insulation material for its nest - cue this unexpected rendezvous. Värmland, Sweden (April 27, 2024).
There is something absurdly funny about him beating her and then immediately being borderline offended by the possibility that she let him win.

I feel like he loves the mobility and dynamic nature of the fight. Having to judge the situation, make quick decisions. Being able to rush and dodge and move... especially after being trapped for so long. It's both mentally and physically stimulating for him. I recall him being very cutely excited about strategy during the fight with Sila!
As a creature so bound to one purpose, I imagine he takes whatever stimulation he can get... what else is he going to enjoy, after all? What else is going to break through the monotony and the loneliness of being what he is? And what else would make him feel fulfilled and proud, other than a victory?
He has nothing else after all.
