I hope I can make time tomorrow and this weekend to explore Spanish.
I have this odd feeling of gravitation towards it much the same way I did with Korean once upon a time.
Does this have any legs? Probably not. I think this is my "Lucha makes me wish I could live in CDMX" phase, but...who knows.
Realistically, I know me and unless this turns out to be a SUPER easy journey that I take to quickly and naturally, I'll be right back to my TTMIK bullshit in no time. I like Korean. And I like that the language can be consumed in many different, enjoyable was for me.
Spanish? Eh, I got CMLL. And that's even harder to come by now that my downloads dried up. However it is way more practical to know Spanish here than Korean.
However, I do have that My Spanish Coach "game" for my DS....
And, as always, the desire to go back and be able to travel a bit easier. Definitely want and hope I can do that sooner rather than later. Mexico City really captured my heart and I never would've imagined.
I just need to be a human Rosetta Stone that isn't so shy and self conscious about speaking a foreign language to other people. If I could ever get over that block, I have zero doubt I could become fluent.
As always, with everything, we shall see.
