hi everyone! If you've been following me for a bit, then you might know the reason why I even made this blog was to share a masterpost I had put together compiling all the genshin cc I could find at the time. Then made an updated version since the older one didn't save my newer updates and became outdated quickly...

so, why a third version? unfortunately, now Tumblr has a limit to the amount of links a post can have. heh. but I wasn't going to give up on making masterlists, maybe if it were just for nostalgia's sake, so I remade it as a google doc instead!

Hi! I recently found out about this blender trick to easily remove splits in a hair mesh when exported. When you export a hair using sims 4 studio, it will be split along the uv borders, but it will also be split on multiple other places, causing weird cuts all over the hair in game.

This tutorial will show you how to keep the hair split between the different parts, while removing the cuts and doubles in the middle of the uv islands. Continued under the cut.

after sleeping on it, another thing I could do is releasing a second version of Aventurine's hair just to fit the hat better? it probably won't look good without the hat, so you'd have to use the original hair file when he won't be wearing it, but I could try and see if i can make it work

heyy so trying to convert aventurine's hair has been tricky because um every option i try looks so fucking goofy😭

the first pic is the hat on top of the hair i made as is. in case you're wondering, no, i cant fit the hat better to his head without it clipping with the hair

the second pic instead is adjusting the hat to the hat chop. it absolutely doesnt fit his head like it should referencing his in-game model + his hat doesnt really flatten his hair, but it def fits his head better,

if anyone has any other alternatives i could try please let me know, because im displeased with both of these outcomes 😭

Are the updated Aventurine hair hat chops meant to be compatible with Parsa's Aventurine hat? Or is there another CC of his hat? Mine goes half bald even with re-download

anon u literally sent this ask when i was writing out the post about his hat i just posted. we had a brain link there but yeah unfortunately most hoyoverse conversions cause bald spots to happen with most maxis hairs 😭 ive taught myself how to avoid them from happening but uhh yeah check my latest post for the extra issues ive been having lol

is anyone still crying from the 2.1 hsr main story quest or is it just me.

im already working on converting his hat to make it compatible with this hair!!! i just had some unexpected issues with the hat i havent even began to untangle yet, so i decided to make these two separate releases instead. i wish i couldve released this hair much more sooner but truth be told, i got burnt out from meshing halfway through the hairstyle, i just had to desperately get it done because i miiiight've developed an hyperfixation with this guy. anyway, it will probably take me a bit before i begin working on any other hairstyle again. do expect some more conversions coming from me in the mean time, though!
