Lucifer is a sobbing mess the second Lilith returns and is in his arms and really doesn’t calm down for hours and hours, but Lilith doesn’t do so much as whimper until halfway through their first post-disappearance lovemaking; she insists they keep going but it eventually just tapers off into her grinding against him slowly, with her shoulders healing every few seconds, and her own tears wetting his face with her shoulders heaving every few seconds, and her tears dripping down his cheeks from how close she presses her face. This makes Lucifer tear up as well because he’s a big softie and also because her lack of an emotional outburst upon their reunion made him so insecure about his own that he’s been driving himself mad for the past couple of days.
