            she had never been good with those things and she wasn’t even sure why. feelings were confusing for her and alex never allowed herself to express it – or to think about it long enough to understand. part of her was also denying whatever it was that she felt for jisoo, simply because she couldn’t believe that he would feel the same way about her. she didn’t want to be the only one with feelings, she didn’t want to get hurt. the show only made things so much more confusing and she almost felt dizzy thinking about it. whenever they were on camera, alex would simply ignore those thoughts as to not make a fool herself for everyone to watch.

           “ mm ” alex nodded, almost hesitant and sad to pull her hand away to type to address into his phone and get the directions to the store. waiting for it to load, she glanced at him for a brief moment. “ oh, it’s not that far ”

♭ He wonders what’ll happen when the show eventually ends. They’ll still see each other, he knows that, they’re in the same company. He knows that he’ll see her in passing, on other shows. He shakes the thoughts out of his head and looks at her, lacing their hands together when she’s done and pressing a kiss to the back of her hand. “Hey, can you sing for me?” Jisoo doesn’t like a quiet car, he feels like he ends up over thinking, or his brain goes fuzzy from the monotony of driving. He turns on the radio so she can sing along to whatever is playing ( if she choses to sing at all ).

♭ He nods at her words and follows the navigation, driving extra carefully because she was in the car and he didn’t want anything to happen. “Okay, show me real quick.” He says, stopping at a red light to look at where he needed to go in full before he starts driving again.

❤ Eros shrugs at his words, “I know, I think I head daddy Dom talk to daddy Apollo about how he regrets bringing me on set that day.” She snickers, tugging Jun’s hand and leaning over to kiss him sweetly on the cheek. “But I think he’s kidding, he’s happy I’m happy. Oh, also, you know I’ve met your dad already right?”

           nari was usually the friendly and nice girl that everyone knew of and had good things to say about but no one really knew much about – she kept a lot of things to herself, but made sure to always be kind to everyone she met. it was just how she had been raised, at the time her parents still bothered to teach her things. “ of course not ” she smiled lightly, taking a small sip of the drink he had brought to her because it felt rude to refuse it. “ it’s perfect, thank you ”

◈ Maybe it was good that she was the kind of person who felt it was rude to refuse. He has some concerns, sure maybe he didn’t know her well yet, and maybe he hadn’t seen her long enough to assume things, but he was concerned. Maybe he was overthinking it being around people with mental illness, that even the smallest sign worried him, maybe he was just being an idiot. “I’m glad you like it.” He looks around and nods his head out, “Wanna go out? Impromptu date?”

          perhaps it was already expected of everyone that people would lie about things like that, especially the royalty. that they would keep their preferences a secret and keep up appearances for the sake of their family and kingdom – that was the norm, it was how junseo thought. although he couldn’t help but think how sad it was to have to hide that way, how he wouldn’t wish that for everyone. part of him was still so strongly hoping that things would work out for junhee and emery, that they would be happy despite the circumstances of their marriage – and now, he couldn’t help but worry for his sister ( for both of them ). “ it’s – it’s fine. ” it wasn’t, but not because of that. junseo paused for a moment, unsure what to say to him. “ what are you gonna do..? ”

↬ Emery was not a selfish man, and he knew that Junseo had every right to hate him for causing this mess. For dooming his sister to a loveless marriage, for ruining everything before it had ever started. He wanted a friend, someone he could trust, and Junseo seemed to be that person--but he’d done it too fast. He’d been to quick about it, but it was better to rip off the bandaid then let it fester until Junhee finally had feelings, or before Emery fell for someone else and couldn’t do anything about it ( anymore than he already couldn’t ). “I know it’s not fine, I’m so sorry.” He whispers, taking a step back, fighting the tears that were already coming again. “I don’t know, what should I do?”
