I've been thinking about this AU for a long time, so I decided to draw this art. In this universe, after the second trial, when Kiyotaka is depressed, Yasuhiro decides to summon ghosts through a ritual. As a result, Kiyotaka can now not only see the ghosts of everyone who died in this academy, but now they can possess him (with his consent, of course). Some additional information:

Taka is still depressed, but now he is also shocked that there are so many ghosts.

Only Yasuhiro and Makoto know about this. The rest either suspect that something is wrong with him or think that he has gone crazy.

Kiyotaka's eyes change color depending on who is controlling him at the moment.

His soul can also leave his body for a short time. When he first tried it, he thought he died.

Chihiro uses Kiyotaka's body to continue working with Alter Ego.

When Mondo possesses him, Kiyotaka's hair turns white.

Kiyotaka is one of the survivors in this universe.

The crystal pendant was given to Kiyotaka during the ritual and he still wears it. Yasuhiro was too scared to ask for money for it.

There's a lot more I can say about this AU, as it's been on my mind for a long time now. But that's all for now.

I just imagine that in the ghost au if someone pisses Taka off too much that he’ll just have short snippets where he’s Kiyondo for a bit cause maybe a bit of Mondo’s spirit was stuck in him or something. I don’t know-

But I bet Mondo and Chihiro’s reactions would be funny, trying to figure out how it’s still possible for that to happen

besties i’m so sorry i couldn’t do the taka week prompt today. i tried, but things weren’t workin’ out. sighhhhh

i was gonna do m for moth because i’m nothing if not predictable. but i’ll still use the opportunity to bring it up again. hey. if you wanna check out a taka fanfic for taka week with a lot of moth imagery, is ishida focused, has survivor taka, and is a character study focused on how taka uses ishida as a form of escapism to not deal with a reality where mondo isn’t there… then i recommend this fic of mine. that i love. so so much. and is almost two years old. but i still love it.

anyways yeah. hopefully i’ll have something for tomorrow!

it's sad that Celeste probably only had her cat in her life, but also, being an Animal Person myself, i don't actually, really see it as sad. i like to imagine she loved that cat to death and that cat loved her! they had each other, they were each other's whole world, and they didn't need much else. he was the most Important Thing to her, as important as Komaru was to Makoto, as Sayaka's bandmates were to her, etc. (and i hope one of the survivors adopted Grand Bois when all was said and done.)
