Kacandera made a face, how dare her cousin challenge her loyalty. While she didn't agree with some of the things that were happening, she was loyal to her family and what was good for them. And she would never say anything ill willed about the crusade they were on. She was trying to be more open and get closer to her aunt, uncle, and father, it was just hard. There was no sense of family, nor the love that family brings, it was cold...calculated. It was a business partnership more than anything. Kacandera hated it, but she needed to try, especially since this was really the only chance she had since they had escaped from Azkaban. 

“I know what side I am on, thanks for checking...but you needn't worry dear cousin,” she said shortly narrowing her eyes at her before she lazily looked away, her brother had just walked in, perhaps he would make this conversation better, or less aggravating. She really wanted to like her family, and she did, but being forced into interacting so quickly had taken its toll on the woman's patience. Not that it was Phi's fault, she knew how Phi could get, after all, they were housemates at school, and Kacandera was notorious for sticking up for her cousin, not that she needed it. She, however, didn't spend much time with the Malfoy family, as she didn't actually care about them.
