i love pokeani xy for introducing the mirrorverse, it offers so much fic possibility. i esp love thinking about team rocket, because conceptually they are so funny to me???

like… THE HUMANS ARE EXACT OPPOSITES ALREADY, so by all means, i think mirror jessie would just have james’ personality, and mirror james would just have jessies?!?! thats SO funny???

the only thing we canonically know about them is that they’re heroes of justice who i guess travel around doing good deeds…

but literally like jessie probably grew up rich and unhappy and is now this elegant, refined lady with the gentlest heart imaginable, easy to tears and incredibly sensitive. she probably has trouble finding the motivation to pursue her dreams, but she’s just fine with that, doesn’t at all mind going with the flow and drifting wherever the wind takes her.

james on the other hand is probably this rough and tumble little boy who came from nothing but whos parents doted on him endlessly, a typical shounen protagonist with a bit of a temper full of friendship speeches and unshakable morals. him & jessebelle didn’t really click as kids but they’re besties who constantly write letters anyways & she lets him babysit her vileplume on the weekends. 

meowth grew up w/ tons of brothers and sisters and they all loved each other endlessly! they all traveled to hollywood together cause they thought the food looked nice. he proposed learning to talk as a joke one day and meowzie encouraged him so wholeheartedly he couldnt break her heart. they broke up but it was chill, she’s chill. meowth himself is p lazy and lacking in ambition, but he doesn’t really mind hanging out w/ his human pals and doing good deeds beside em. he’s an honest and upstanding dude who really sucks at being anything other than himself! all he really wants outta life is to chill and nap, no goals beyond that, really. he’s a cat.

wobbuffet is soft spoken and polite on the surface but the first one to complain whenever ANYTHING goes wrong. he will rat you out. he is a pain in the ass. hell hath no fury like this pissed off wobbuffet. he is a large ball of rage who constantly looks ready to throw down with everything who annoys him but he can’t actually fistfight them so he just sits there boiling. do not piss wobbuffet off. and good luck achieving that because he has the shortest fuse ever and exactly 0% patience.

You have no idea how many people lurk on your work. No idea how many times people go back to revisit your work. How big they smile when they simply think about your work. How fast their heart beats, how excited they get when they see that you posted something.

People are shy with their feedback. Sometimes it’s because they’re simply shy. Other times it’s because they assume you already know how great and talented you are. Could be both.

My point is, even if you barely have any likes or reblogs, don’t get discouraged. You have a lot of silent fans, but they are still your fans. Keep on creating. Because there is always someone out there who will love what you have made.
