Stardew Valley Mods I use

This is a compilation of mods I use for Stardew Valley for my twitch followers. If you happen to be seeing this on here and are interested in seeing my twitch, you can see me play games and maybe sometimes draw at https://www.twitch.tv/crystalcatart

STARDEW VALLEY MODS

To download any mods for Stardew, you’ll NEED SMAPI, which you can download here.

Download instructions can be found on the wiki page.

Now I have downloaded all of my mods from NexusMods, you’ll need to make an account if you don’t have one already. NexusMods also has its own mod organizer, Vortex, so you don’t have to manually download them all. Its also great if you want to mod multiple games and you can have all your mods in one place. Its not a requirement to download, as you can manually put all mods in the mod folders, which you are welcome to do so if you don’t feel like downloading Vortex.

!I will always try to list when a mod requires another mod to work!

Here are my current mods (in no particular order)

Content Patcher many aesthetic mods require this. It loads new content without replacing the original files

Skull Cavern Elevator adds an elevator to the skill caverns like in the regular mines

Portraiture Allows you to use different art portraits

Tree Transplant allows you to move all trees, including mahogany trees, mushroom trees, and fruit trees! (NOT WORKING RN 1.6 Update)

Better Hay This mod lets you collect hay even if your silos are full or you don't have any silos (NOT WORKING RN)

Mal’s Sebastian Expansion With Post Marriage Events (requires content patcher) I like to romance Sebastian, so I got a mod with extra dialogue. Has smoking and nonsmoking versions (NOT WORKING RN)

Canon-Friendly Dialogue Expansion (requires Content Patcher) Adds lots of dialogue to all friendable characters! Makes the game more enjoyable as the years go on so the dialogue isn’t super repetitive

Stardew Hack library/core mod that contains bits of code for some other mods

Harvest With Scythe (requires Stardew Hack) allows you to harvest all crops with the scythe

Hats Won’t Mess Up Hair (requires Content Patcher) hats won’t change your hairstyle

Elle’s New Barn Animals (requires Content Patcher) allows you to choose between several new designs of barn animals, including deer and alpacas! Configuration instructions are on the mod page

Elle’s New Coop Animals (requires Content Patcher) new skins for the coop animals! Configuration instructions are on the mod page

Wear More Rings (requires StardewHack) allows you to wear up to 20 rings (I have mine set to 8)

Elle’s Cat Replacements (requires Content Patcher) has 51 different cat skins to choose from with optional collar options. There is also a version for dogs here. Configuration instructions are on the mod page

Custom Fixed Dialogue (continued) - needed for certain mods to change the dialogue

Kats Brighter Hair (requires Content Patcher) allows you to get a brighter hair color (works great for unnatural colors)

Eskbl’s Wizard Mod (requires Portraiture) hot cowboy wizard mod y’all!

Romanceable Rasmodius (requires Content Patcher) Makes the wizards character more interesting, adds a bedroom, and you are able to talk to him during events. Pairs well with Eskbl’s Wizard Mod!

Allow Beach Sprinklers can have sprinklers on the beach farm (used in my other game)

Prismatic Slime Finder tells you what floors the prismatic slime is on (still changes every 10 in game minutes, so I like to pair it with the Time Speed mod so I can stop time and work towards the right floor.

Time Speed can control the flow of time in the game; speed it up, slow it down, or stop it altogether. Controls are listed on the mod page

Platonic Partners and Friendships (requires Content Patcher, Custom Fixed Dialogue) You can configure the settings to be platonic with everyone, or to have a chosen romantic partner. Configuration instructions are on the mod page

Platonic Relationships Allows you to reach 10 hearts with everyone without having to date the bachelors/bachelorettes (downloaded Alpha for 1.6)

Craftable Mushroom Boxes Allows you to craft mushroom boxes, originally got it for my game where I picked the fruit cave, but it can also be used just to add more boxes

Seasonal Villager Outfits (requires Content Patcher) So this is not the original one that I used. It says this on the mod page: “Also, please don't contact me regarding the original SVO. I'm not its mod author and don't know when/if it will be available again.” It’s still really cute but it’s not the current one I am using. (currently not using for 1.6 update with new winter outfits, may turn on again later)

Medieval Buildings (requires Content Patcher) Changes the buildings on your farm to a medieval aesthetic

Cottagecore Fences (requires Content Patcher) some cute new looks to the fences. Configuration instructions are on the mod page

Way Back Pelican Town (requires Content Patcher) changes the buildings of Pelican Town to the medieval aesthetic

Gwen’s Medieval Craftables (requires Content Patcher) changes the looks of all the craftable items. Configuration instructions are on the mod page

NPC Map Location shows where the NPC’s are on the map so they can be more easily found. No more constantly looking up their schedules!

Json Assets (requires Expanded Preconditions Utility and Spacecore) used for witchy looks and coal trees

SpaceCore - needed for Json Assets

Unlimited Players A work in progress mod to allow an unlimited number of people to join your farm in multiplayer (I do find that I still have to add a house for each of the new people joining).

Simple Foliage (Requires Content Patcher) A mod to replace most trees in Stardew Valley with a more stylized version.

Simple Resources (requires Content Patcher) - A mod to replace most debris/resource caches in SV with a more stylized version

Idaida’s Seasonal Floor and Paths (For CP and AT) (Can use either) Replace all the craftable floors and paths with new seasonal options. With options for some map recolors.

Alternative Textures Framework which enables texture variation for placeable objects, buildings and entities in Stardew Valley.

Event Repeater - A useful tool for Content Patcher Modding (Requires Content Patcher) Add depth to your stories with the option to Repeat events over and over as you need them!

Date Night - (Requires Content Patcher & Event Repeater) Go on dates with your spouse! Do you ever feel like your marriage has gotten boring after a while? This mod adds repeatable dates to try and add some spice to your married life! (NOT UPDATED AND NOT WORKING 1.6)

Witchy Looks - (Requires Json Assets) Get a bit Victorian or rustic witchy vibes in Stardew Valley.

Lune’s Offering - (Requires Alternative Textures) Lune's Offerings is a cohesive set of witchy furniture and decoration items.

Divine Decor - (Requires Content Patcher & Alternative Textures) Divine Decor is a set of witchy-inspired decoration items.

Idaida’s Witchy Scarecrows - (For Content Patcher) Replace the scarecrows with a Gothic Witchy look.

West Elm Furniture - (For AT) By Atlas (Requires Alternative Textures) A new furniture line comes to the valley! Inspired by the real West Elm series!

Ragnarok Online Hats - (requires Content Patcher) Replaces the hats with some other designs

Coal Fruit Trees by Wickedy - (requires Content Patcher, Json Assets, and Producer Framework Mod) Toss a fruit tree sapling in a furnace to make a Coal Fruit tree that doesn't go away after a few days. Produces "Coal Fruit" (NOT UPDATED FOR 1.6)(CURRENTLY BROKEN AND HOLDING OUT HOPE FOR AN UPDATE LOL)

Producer Framework Mod - Framework to add custom rules for producing objects. Supports code and content pack interfaces. (UPDATED FOR 1.6)

Fancy Fish and Tackle Retexture - (requires Content Patcher) Fancier retexture for bait, tackles and some fish.

DSHI Minerals Retexture - (requires Content Patcher) Fancier retexture for minerals

DSHI Food Retexture - (requires Content Patcher) Fancy retexture for minerals

DSHI Shipping Items Retexture - Crops_Artisan Goods_Forage - (requires Content Patcher) Fancy retexture for ^^^ all that jazz

Vibrant Pastoral Recolour (requires content patcher) - just a cute recolor

(CP) Vibrant Pastoral Recolour Temporary Fix for 1.6 (requires Content Patcher & VPR) - original recolour mod is not updated for 1.6, this is a fix to make the new tiles match the recolour.

Eidee Easy Fishing - a customizable mod for easy fishing!

Monster Spawner - (for 1.6) new updated mod for spawning monsters

Monster Slayer Anywhere - View your monster eradication goals anywhere by pressing F7

Idaida’s Wallpapers and Floors (requires either Content Patcher or Alternate Textures) - New look for farmhouse wallpapers and floors

Elliot - Astarion Replacement (requires Content Patcher) - replaces Elliott with Astarion from Baldur’s Gate 3. Character sprite change as well as new dialogue

Idaida’s Wisp Torch (requires Content Patcher) - Change the look of the torch to a cute floating purple flame

Leave My Coal Alone! (requires Content Patcher) - Removes the coal from the preserves jar and beehouse crafting recipe

More Rain - Lets you adjust the probability of rain and storms each season

More Skin Tone Options 2.0 (requires Content Patcher) - Replaces default skin tones and replaces them with more diverse options

Lovely Kitchen (requires Content Patcher) - New kitchen for the farmhouse, cabins, and island house. Very customizable!

Lovely Kitchen Islands and Extras (requires Alternative Textures) - Includes different sizes and colors of kitchen islands, as well as kitchen cabinets and matching coffee maker. Also very customizable!

No Fence Decay Redux - successor to old mod, fences don’t decay

Yellog’s Wood Buildings CP (currently unlisted or deleted)

(CP)Twiistrz New Paths (requires Content Patcher) changes how the paths look

Yellog’s Wood Fence CP (currently unlisted or deleted)

Gwen’s Lamps for CP (requires Content Patcher) Replaces wood and iron lamp posts with chosen designs. Configuration instructions are on the mod page (made redundant with the addition of Gwen’s Medieval Craftables)

Yellog’s Wood Craftables (currently unlisted or deleted)

Elle’s New Horses (requires Content Patcher) new skins for the horses with optional saddle overlays. Configuration instructions are on the mod page.

Chic Cute Kitchen makes the kitchen real cute!

Dark Brown and Cream Colored Furniture (currently unlisted or deleted from Nexus, sorry! There are plenty of other awesome aesthetic furniture mods on Nexus mods!)

Greenroom for the Farmhouse (currently hidden, including link if it is ever available again) Adds a greenhouse like wall in the upper room of the farmhouse

Akatsuki Scarecrows (requires Content Patcher) changes the scarecrows into akatsuki members from Naruto

Gwen’s Paths (requires Content Patcher) some new looks for the outdoor paths

Starblue Valley World Recolor 1.5 Update (The Dirty Fix) (Requires Content Patcher) Gives the world a more subdued color palette.

Ore Increase More Ore in the mines (DEAD FOR NOW?)

Witch’s Broom - Updated for Content Patcher (Requires Content Patcher) Replaces the horse with a broom.

Skip Fishing Minigame fishing too hard or you just don’t wanna deal with the minigame? This mod is for you! (Did not update for 1.6, got a new mod that is updated)

PyTK - Platonymous Toolkit (NO LONGER NEEDED FOR PORTRAITURE) honestly idk what this does but some mods need it (NOT USING ANYMORE)

Spawn Monsters allows you to spawn any monster anywhere in game. It’s just for funsies (or could be used to complete the monster hunter trophy quickly)

Matching Tools - Iridium Scythe (requires Content Patcher) Is the golden scythe ruining your iridium tool color scheme? This mod is for you (No longer Necessary in 1.6)

Magical Witchy Kitchen and Furniture Pack (Requires Alternative Textures and Content Patcher) Witchy furniture items and farmhouse kitchen retexture.

Monster Log Anywhere allows you to check the status of your monster slayer goals at any time (NO LONGER WORKS; OUTDATED)

Sebastian Post Flower Dance Apology Sebastian apologizes for for not wanting to dance with you at the flower dance lol (NOT UPDATED SO I DON’T THINK IT WORKS?)

No Fence Decay pretty self explanatory, can pick them up and move them! (NOT WORKING RN)

No Clop If It’s Not a Horse it Shouldn’t Gallop (Requires PyTK) To silence the horse animation sound since I switched to a broom. (NOT USING ANYMORE)

Bachelors and Bachelorettes Stay Friends (requires Content Patcher) allows them to stay friends/still hang out even as their friendship with you grows (NOT UPDATED FOR 1.6)

Immersive Spouses - Improved Spouse Schedule Varies your spouse’s schedule (NOT UPDATED FOR 1.6)
