❝ IT’S been how many weeks since I’ve arrived and I still want to punch every scientist in the face for taking my Pokemon. Someone fight me. ❞

PERHAPS she was taking longer than what was necessary or appropriate, but when you’re short on cash and you have to get something that will last you as a “meal” for the rest of the day, you have to be careful in making your choice. This goes double for in a bakery because damn, look at all those sweets. Kris would be surprised if someone didn’t have a hard time making a choice on what to get.
WHAT also surprised her was the rather, erm--irritated looking boy who seemed to be freakishly tall with how he towered over her. His complaint didn’t go unnoticed since he was right there in her face, so the instinctive flinch she gave was warranted if anything.
❝ HEY! Back up buddy and get out of my face. Who do you think you are, huh? ❞ Kris’ tone was anything but light as she clicked her tongue at the boy. Talk about annoying.

Annoyances in this city kept popping up all over the place as he soon learned. Such as right now, this girl wouldn’t make up her mind about what to buy. It almost made him want to leave the store and try somewhere else, but he wasn’t actually sure if there was any other bakery nearby.
Which meant he had to suffer through this.
Growing irritated after every passing second, he eventually leaned over her, now face to face, even if he was upside-down in her view.
“Hurry uuuuuuup. People have places to beeeee.”

AS she scoops Chikorita back up into her own arms, she runs her palm comfortably across his head as he gleefully nuzzles back, his large shining eyes don’t leave the boy however. Kris nodded at the strangers statement though, glancing up at him from her Pokemon. ❝ That’s probably it. We’ve been in big cities before but this place is just in a league of it’s own. ❞ Smiling at the boy, she nodded towards him. ❝ Yeah, unfortunately. You’re new too, huh? ❞
❝ WELL I’m sorry to hear you’ve also ended up in this strange place. ❞ Kris’ smile turns slightly apologetic, after all she wasn’t overly enjoying it here in the Hive so she only figured it was the same for most. Peaking down at Chikorita, sure enough his eyes were still on the boy making her giggle slightly. ❝ He’s seems pretty fond of you, ❞ she states matter-of-factly.
[ Oh my, what was this? The messy-haired young man had just been talking a stroll, seeing what this place had to offer. Tiz had always harbored an affinity for animals, big and small. He loved them ever since he was a small boy. But this…this was definitely no animal. It looked more like a Chomper, if anything else. Well, even if it was, he couldn’t help but feel a pressing need to comfort it. Poor thing seemed stressed out by its surroundings. With a gentle tone, Tiz coerced the creature into his arms, petting its head to help it relax. ]
“It’ll be alright. I know this place is scary, but I’ll keep you safe.”
[ His ears picked up the voice of a girl, stating that the creature in his arms was hers. Oh good, it had an owner. He smiled gently at her, handing her pet over to her. ]
“It’s okay, really. I think it’s just scared. Did you just arrive here? I’m new too.”

❝ A... twintail alliance? ❞
A short laugh bubbled up from Kris’ throat. That was pretty cheesy but funny regardless. ❝ Yeah, sure, why not? I’m game. I’m Kris by the way. ❞
“Hmm… maybe it would be easier to look together then? Something like… a twintail alliance?” That is a horrible name, Rin.

IT happens in seconds when Kris’ Chikorita jumps from her arms, bounding down the street at full speed for some reason or other. A surprised cry comes from Kris and she’s soon tailing her Pokemon, shouting his name and attempting to not lose sight him down the busy street. This never happened, and yet for some reason it was and Kris was left utterly confused--she had no time to focus on that however, she had to--
WAS that some guy holding Chikorita?Jogging over to the stranger, only slightly out of breath she waved at him for his attention. ❝ Hey uh, he’s mine! ❞ she speaks up, eyeing her Pokemon sitting comfortably in the boys arms. ❝ Sorry about that, he usually doesn’t take off on his own like that. ❞

FEELING a bit more comfortable around the girl, Kris was positive she’d make a friend out of her, and on the off chance it didn’t work out well--there were thousands of other people in this city, right? But she doubted it, the girl looked pretty lax around the trainer, and that made her a bit happy at least. She remembered arriving on her first day, so many emotions running through her, so many questions, she wondered what was on Utsutsu’s mind.
❝ OH really? I arrived about a week ago, so I’m still pretty unsure about this place myself. Something tells me it’s going to take awhile to wrap my head around this place. ❞ Shrugging to herself with a sigh, she smiled at Utsutsu, wondering exactly who these old people were that she was talking about.
❝ IT’S nice to meet you Utsutsu, my name’s Kris. ❞ Kris stuck her hand out in a welcoming gesture. ❝ I hope we can be good friends. ❞
The stranger’s smile did help her ease her nerves, no longer feeling stiff and slowly relaxing herself. If she was back home, her team would be proud of her for even being able to talk to someone first, and keeping up a conversation. Making a friend was nice too, and it’d make the stay in this city much more bearable.
“I just arrived today…”
“I don’t even think the old people here know what this city is all about… Oh- um… I’m Utsutsu Miya, I forgot to introduce myself…”

HIVE City is fucking huge, bigger than any city Kris has been to anyway, at least she thinks so. Either way, she wasn’t sure where the hell she was going but at the moment she didn’t really care. If it came down to it she could always take a cab back to her apartment or ask someone for direction, but at the moment Kris didn’t really mind that she was lost. Wandering the streets of the Hive was in a way calming, it made her feel as if she was still home in Johto, wandering the streets of Goldenrod, even if only a little.
WITH Chikorita in her arms, Kris was still a bit pissed that Meganium had been reduced to its most basic evolution. She probably wouldn’t have to be so cautious either since Meganium was the strongest Pokemon on her team, one she had taken great pride in training for all those years. The scientists had proven that that didn’t matter here however, and all those years of training had dissolved in the blink of an eye. She didn’t even want to mention how the rest of her Pokemon were taken from her either, but the trainer was at least grateful for one of her friends to be at her side, no matter what form they took.
WHEN the whisper of some girl caught her attention, Kris spun on her heels to face her, eyes questioning as she quite obviously eyed Chikorita in her hands. Staring at her expectantly, she wasn’t sure what was wrong with this girl but she was weirding her out only slightly. And then she mentioned Pokemon. Surprise evident on Kris’ face, she began to get excited at the prospect that this girl was from her own world. ❝ You know about Pokemon? ❞ she asked, a happy glint in her blue eyes. Raising up her little friend in her arms, she gestured towards the tiny Pokemon. ❝ This is Chikorita, and my name’s Kris. You are? ❞
You, Roxy Lalonde, had just squealed your usually typed omg in the middle of the street for good reason. Your eyes had seen what they had seen and you weren’t one to let such a chance like this escape from you, even if you were going about it in a too psyched kind of way– but that didn’t matter to you now because holy shit you just saw a Nintendo character.
It wasn’t like you were seeing things either, that little green creature the girl was holding was just like one of those animals in a game you had played back home once or twice, when all you could do to pass the time was down martinis and mess around with the Nintendo consoles your mom had left in the house for one reason or another. The name of this creature eluded you, that particular game wasn’t your favorite one, but man it was cute as heck so obviously, you approached it. Everything had a reason for being here, and with the amount of alternate realities meeting one another in this one city, it wasn’t unreasonable for a video game character to show up. Hell, it would be weird if they didn’t.

❝pst, sorry if this comes off as a little creepy and to be honest, it prooobably will buut… that little guy you have there, isnt it one of those… uh– ❞ God dammit Roxy, how could you mind blank at a time like this. You are meeting a real life video game character. It was every gamers dream! Wait, no, you had this. You had to have this. Man, you wished you played this game more than those fighting ones. ❝–uh, poke… something. pocket monster, pokemon, yes. a pokemon. nailed it. ❞

OH, so he was gay then, that made sense but the comment really took the wind out of Kris’ sails. She was ready to chew the guy up and spit him out. Sighing to herself, she shook her head exasperatedly, waving his commentary off. ❝ Trust me buddy, if I wanted to I would’ve managed at least one good hit, ❞ she comments, looking at him with a raised eyebrow. ❝ Might not persuade you but I’ll be happy anyway. ❞
❝ WHY didn’t you just say you were gay in the first place though, I would’ve taken it less personally or were you just wanting to start a fight, huh? ❞ she asked, a sarcastic tone in her voice.
「Very well… To be honest, your aesthetic is fine inn general, but you really are the wrong gender for it to really be appealing to me.」Outstanding heterosexuality on his part. Not like he cared, though.「And believe me when I say that many people much stronger than yourself have tried and failed to dissuade me against speaking my opinions.」

☆ ☆ ☆ alright, alright, alright, alright, mun intro time!! hi, hello my name’s Seya, I’m 20 and I am an awkward potato who lives quite literally in the middle of Canada nowhere. Um let’s see, I really love watching horror movies, anime (especially 90′s & S P O R T S), and I also play a lot of video games (mainly Nintendo stuff & visual novels) but take forever to actually finish any of them. I also like writing (obviously) and drawing and maybe listening to R18 drama cd’s. I’m a sinner who has too many problematic faves and is just totally indecisive about what I want to do in life.
I’m really nice though? I think I am? But I’m kind of shy at first so I find it hard to initially talk to people even though I am on twitter 24/7 and literally talk to EVERYONE. ...Well, I try at least. My skype is also oneechans so you can add me on there too but I prefer if we’ve talked before at least once (and please tell me who you are!)
I joined citta almost two months ago as Utena Tenjou and I also play Makoto Kino on here. This is the first mfrpg I’ve joined on tumblr since I’ve only been rp’ing in Pokemon groups for the last couple of years, but I’ve been having a lot of fun on here and I’m really happy to have joined! I’ve been rp’ing for a total of 7 years however and yeah it’s just super fun. I also rp on kny if you’re interested. So um feel free to follow me on my twitter and chat with me I really like making friends!?
aaaand yeah.. have an awesome day Citta, stay cool!! ᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ

IT was pleasant to run into someone who was seemingly kind and sweet, certainly less frustrating than dealing with a more rambunctious individual or those who had less than savoury characters. Perhaps Kris could even make a friend? It certainly wouldn’t hurt, after all she had no idea how long she would be in this place so if anything it was more beneficial (how a friendship with a young little girl would be beneficial to Kris however, she had no clue). Giving the girl a smile in hopes of easing away the nervous look on her face, the tone in her voice was calm and caring.
❝ I’VE been here for only a few days actually, I’m pretty new and still very confused about what this place is all about. I take it you’re new yourself? ❞
Hearing the other thank her and even compliment her only caused her to turn red. The situation wasn’t one she was used to being in, and she honestly wanted to just flee. Yet she didn’t, seeing as how she was the one to start the conversation and she needed to at least go through with it (it’d be rude if she didn’t, and O.D. would be mad.)… Plus the stranger was nice.
“You’re welcome…” She mumbled, finally looking up to make eye contact. “Thank you… I… actually wanted to ask you… how long have you been in this place?”

WHAT was with all these rude ass people, she hadn’t even been in this god forsaken place for a week and already Kris was running into trash. The girl seemed like she was only a kid but already she was annoying her. What Kris had ever done to befall such misfortune, she doesn’t know.
❝ I understood none of that, and you know why? Because no one says that, at all. What are you like 10? Shouldn’t you show a little more respect towards those who are older than you...? ❞
“Huh?”
“What are you: dumb?”
And just like that, any future kindness that the fairy had in store for the girl before her just disappeared. Poof. Just like that. Really, it was no different than how heat would just leave the body of someone that had an ice-pack on them, if you’re in mood for odd, ice-themed analogies. Maybe one pertaining to blue hair and blueberries or something of the sort could be next?
“What part of ‘100%, cool as cool ice’ don’t you understand?”

SHE’S not sure origami birds have feelings but Kris still smiles at the girls enthusiasm, not bothering to touch the little thing that landed on her head but rather just leave it there for the time being.

KRIS did not expect the words that came from the young girl who had approached her out of the blue, but as they met her ears a small spark of a smile had met her lips. How sweet; evident from the shy nature of the little stranger, this wasn’t something she did often and so the action was appreciated only that much more. If anything, it brightened Kris’ mood a bit.
❝ HOW sweet of you, thank you! You know, your hair is quite pretty as well, I’m almost jealous at how long and well kept it is. ❞
↳ crystalcure
“Your hair…”
It wasn’t everyday she would voluntarily go up to someone and talk to them, especially a complete stranger, yet here she was. The moment she spoke, she avoided the other’s eyes and began fiddling with her skirt.
“You… have really pretty hair…”

KRIS is unsure how to answer and has to repeat the words in her head a few times before they fully process. This girl sure liked to talk, especially about herself (remind you of someone Kris?).
❝ SO... is that a yes? ❞
“Nosy? Ha! It’s no problem!”
A surprisingly rare expression of non-hostility. Consider yourself blessed, Kris.
“Of course you wanna know all about me and the pure awesomeness that are my wings! You’re checking out 100%, cool as cool ice, lady!”
…On second thought, nevermind.
