I love the animations you did but i was wondering. In your "scare me" video why is lock the only one who looks genuinely distressed/scared. Hes the only one not smileing once after looking in though the window

it's that time of year where i become obsessed with drawing flowy dresses and pretty ocs. and this little drawing is a big update from the previous. I'm really obsessed with getting more movement and dynamic flow in my posing and compositions. definitely feel like I'm going in the right direction.

I don't know why, but Everytime I see your LSB + C art, it gives me cute aggression. Everytime I see a cute little drawing of Lock and Barrel, it makes me want to scream into my pillow. They're all primarily right-handed but Shock has learned to multitask while potion-making which sometimes requires two hands.

Lock can taste sugar 🍭 imps are normally carnivores but, like Barrel, his unique upbringing altered his diet.

Just their names, though Barrel is an emoji king and decorates everyone's names with the icons he associates with them.

imps are hard to stumble upon (and they like it that way). You won't notice them, but if you're in one's territory they've got eyes on you.

Nah. It wasn't even an interest for Lock or Shock but they each found partners that warmed their way into their respective hearts 🖤

Lock knows that if he starts something with Shock he better be ready to throw hands

It's one of Barrel's favorite things to do!

Honestly re-watching the nightmare before christmas. No wonder they hate the mayor like what was he doing other than being obsessed with jack

Well...the trio don't hate the Mayor, exactly:

They don't care that he's Jack's fanboy (who isn't, except for them?)

They don't care that he doesn't do much with his position (even Jack and Sally are well aware the Mayor is mainly a figurehead).

They simply know Mayor is scared of them and that makes him a great target for pranks!

And it has nothing to do with the fact that even after Jack welcomes the trio into town, even after the trio ran to the Mayor to help rescue Jack and Sally, he still remains distrustful of them. He has never said it out loud, but it's clear he doesn't think they can change.

And yunno...they get it. They're sure a lot of people in town feel that way, even if they don't show it at openly as he does. Their love of pranks and mischief probably doesn't make them the most beloved citizens, even with Jack vouching for them all the time.

But it's not like they care what people think anyway, right? Why should it matter if the townsfolk still think they're a threat to the King and Queen, despite risking their lives to save them? It's not like they care if folks don't know they'd choose a different side now, if Oogie were still an option.

It's fine.

Who needs em anyway.

(Most townsfolk DO welcome the trio in town, even if they're the recipients of their pranks at times. The Mayor is an outlier, and they're growing on him)
