Cemetery Water
Water that is charged under a specific moon phase in some sort of container, which is left in the cemetery either overnight or a few hours (however long one can leave it there to charge in one night) to not only absorb and be charged by the energies of the moon but the energies of the cemetery as well.
Useful for:
spirit work
shadow work
anyone working with elements of spirits or the dead
as an offering for deities affiliated with themes of death
grounding
ancestor spells
psychic work
divination magic
energy work
protection
warding
baneful spells/magic
grounding
cleansing
possibilities are endless
What you do:
Bring a vessel of water with you to the cemetery during a moon phase of your choosing and leave in a designated spot. The longer you leave it to charge there, the more potent the water will be, so leave the water there for as long as you can or deem fit.
*Notes and other ideas:
If you want to keep your water protected and prevent spirits from coming home with it, put some salt in your water, or make a ring of salt on the ground around your bottle (so long as your container is not on grass or soil).
Alternatively, you can attach/draw a sigil  on the container to ward away unwanted bad energies/spirits.
Use crystals to make the water into a gem elixir, protect your water or charge it with a certain purpose.
You could also sage or incense to keep the bottle and immediate area surrounding it cleansed, however you MUST remain at the site to supervise it. You CAN NOT leave it unattended.
Depending on what you may intend to use the water for, you could infuse the water with herbs that correspond with your purpose. For example, I sometimes infuse mugwort, lavender and pansies in the water and let it charge if I’m doing work with Hel or need protection before delving into any kind of spirit work or intense spellcraft. (I also make sure to refrigerate it and use within the following week.)
If you work with directions (north, east, south, west), you can put the water in a direction that suits your needs or intentions.
If you have any loved ones or relatives buried there and intend to do some ancestor magic you can leave it with them to charge.
*DISCLAIMER: Make sure to follow any and all laws regarding your local cemetery and please be respectful while in the space of the dead. Ensure that any herbs you burn or crystals used for an elixir are safe to use as such.*

✨ SEASHELL MAGICK ✨
Tumblr media
⏩ Shells are strongly associated with the water element - obviously haha
⏩They associate with the Moon
⏩ Mostly used in magick to draw things you desire
⏩ Shells taken from the sea need little ritual prep
⏩ If store bought ▶ a cleansing and charging is probably due. More beneficial!!!
TO DO: place shells in salt water either from the actual sea or water mixed with SEA salt… Soak for 1 day and or overnight ▶ under the moon is great idea/tip too!!!
⏩ sea shells as an accessories can be used in spells to attract a mate
⏩ Afew cultures used shells as currency so it can be a water witch or substitute for money spells
⏩ shells are primarily used for protection and have strong protective energies
⏩ Shell necklace can help keep kids close and safe to home
⏩ They are gentle healers
⏩ each type of shell has different properties aswell so those would need to be further studied upon if you’re interested

Bubbles in Magick
Tumblr media
Bubbles are whimsical and fun mixes of Air and Water, and hold a magic of all their own. Many of us have fond memories of using bubbles s children whether it was from blowing them out in the summer breeze or baths overflowing with them.
Correspondences of Bubbles
Bubbles have several correspondences and uses when it comes to magick and witchcraft. Due to their whimsical and nostalgic nature they are often associated with inspiration, creativity, childhood, wonder and fantasy. Bubbles are also wonderful for protection, cleansing and purification spells seeing as they are often made through using soap. Due to the shape and shine of many bubbles they are often associated with scrying and psychic abilities as well.
Bubble Uses
Bubbles and Cleansing
There are various ways to use bubbles to cleanse oneself or their space. The most simple and obvious way being using soap in the shower or bath and while washing one’s self imagining any dark, heavy emotion and energy one has being being sucked up into the bubbles and foam, trapped inside them. Then as the bubbles go down the drain, visualize all that toxicity going with it.
One can also use a bubble wand and bubble liquid to remove their negativity by visualizing as you blow the bubbles that all your breath going into them is filled with the negativity you wish to remove from yourself. This method is best down outside to ensure when the bubble pops it doesn’t just re-release the negativity in your living space.
To cleanse one’s space or home with bubbles is simple. You either clean it gently where you are able to use soap or you may leave a dish of bubble liquid out overnight. Once it has set out you may dispose of it down the sink or outside via blowing bubbles.
Bubbles and Wishes
Like my previous Bubble Spell, bubbles are wonderful for wish making. Focus on the wish and intent you have. Let it build up in your chest and lungs then release it as you blow your bubbles. Watch them float up into the sky and once they burst know that your wish has been released out into the universe.
Bubble Scrying
Bubble scrying is one of my favorite methods of simple divination. While in a bath filled with bubble bath, close your eyes and focus on your energy. Use your finger to stir in the water and foam of the bubbles. Ask your question or what you seek in your mind our outloud. Once you are satisfied stop your stirring and open your eyes. Watch and focus on the way the bubbles move and wait. Once you see shapes and images in the soap that feel to have a significance remember what they are. I often use the associations used in tasseography to determine what the shapes and images mean.

A Simple Shower Spell
For when you’re in pain (emotional or physical) or for when you just need a little something extra that day.
Tumblr media
This can be done any time of day, feel free to experiment with what you find most effective.
As you step into the shower, take a moment to stand under the water and feel it gently patting onto your skin.
“Flowing water from above,
Wash over me
With peace and love.
As you flow down the drain,
Take from me,
My ache and pain.”
Continue your shower as usual. Feel free to add (water safe!) Crystals around your shower as well to help amplify the spell.

Spell Writing Tips for Beginners
Hello Lovelies!
So you’ve decided to write a spell, great! Everyone has the capacity and capability to write a working spell. This is a list of some beginner tips for new spell writers, or for experienced writers who feel they need to go back to the basics.
1. Don’t be afraid of your own style.
Some spells are super flowery with long words and Shakespearian phrases. Some spells require 18 ingredients and 3 days to cast them. Some spells require specific times to cast them and the perfect astrological conditions. Some spells are simple, consisting of a single phrase. Don’t be afraid of your own individual style. A spell written by you, for you, should be a personal experience. Just because your spell doesn’t flow a certain way doesn’t mean it’s “wrong” or won’t work. Spell writing is a form of self expression and each spell will be as individual and unique as the person writing it.
2. Don’t think too much.
Spell writing (for me anyway) is more of a spiritual experience than an intellectual one. I usually sit down with my pen and paper. Then I meditate for a minute thinking about what I want to achieve. Then I just let the words flow out onto the paper, without thinking about what it all means. You can always read it after and make adjustments. If you just sit down and let it happen, you may be surprised by what you come up with!
3. Make your own associations.
Don’t feel like you have to research the meaning of every ingredient or color that you use. I may think red is a color for lust while you see it as a color for anger. Both associations are right. If something doesn’t feel right to you, or you personally feel different about something. It’s ok to use an ingredient in a different way than what is “traditional”.
4 Do research on any ingredients you use.
This may seem contradictory to my last tip, but this time I’m talking about physical properties. Will your gemstone dissolve in water? Is that herb you want to use toxic? Could you have an allergy to that essential oil? It’s important to do your research because some of the ingredients used in spell craft can be very potent. 5. Have fun!
If spell writing is stressing you out, try taking a break and coming back to it later. Whatever energy you have while writing your spell is going to show up in the casting of your spell. If you’re angry while writing a healing spell, it probably won’t work as well as you wanted it to. Don’t get frustrated with yourself. You’re new at this it will take some time. Just have patience with yourself.
I hope these tips are helpful for any new spell writers! Happy writing! -Liz
