Hey so kind of have a sudden traumatic family loss - I didn’t know them especially well, but it directly affects my husband and I’m not sure how the next week or so will play out at this point. He is visiting with the rest of the family right now to try and figure out what happened, etc.
I know I haven’t been posting here much but my husband is pretty much financially taking on the majority of our food and rent bills (I take care of utilities) and since he is a contract trade worker he doesn’t get a lot or any paid days off in most cases, but he doesn’t really get penalized for them either.
If y’all can check out the shop so that I can take some of the weight off of him at least for the weekend for food, making sure he’s eating, feels comfortable etc. that would be really appreciated. He usually does all of the cooking.
There’s also of course the Etsy strike (I’ve spoke about it on other platforms) so if you don’t feel comfortable buying from my shop directly from April 11-18th I am happy to check out with CashApp or Venmo. PayPal is iffy for me but it’s available.
I am happy to take on commissions for things that don’t already exist in the shop if you are interested in paintings, functional crochet items, goddess statues etc.
I don’t really know what else to say because I’m also a bit in shock, but anything would help us stay afloat for however long my husband needs to process this. It’s the second he’s had to deal with in a year, so I just want to give him space where possible.
Orders may be delayed (I know some already are) but i don’t want to pressure him to work when he shouldn’t be.

I designed some new friends this week. Trying to stay productive through my unemployment, so I draw every day. Hopefully I can get that book done soon.
