Crystal raised an eyebrow at the other before crossing her arms over her chest. “I doubt they’re going to section people off based on powers.” she’d pipe in. “They can’t be sure that we’ve all mastered our crafts so we’ll probably all get a cool new accessory.” She let out a small sigh as she glanced at the other. “There's no point in lying Daniel.”
“Nullification Bracelets.” Daniel repeated, mostly to himself. The darkness manipulator was trying to make sense of the announcement that he, and all of Lake Grimstone, had just heard. In a way it made sense to him, there were people here that needed to have something that would help them control their powers, sadly he didn’t think that everyone would see it that way.
The announcement cut off and people began to look somewhat worried. “They probably just didn’t explain things right, I’m sure that not everyone will have to wear them.” He said as he tried to help people stay calm.

Crystal let out a small gasp as she bumped into the other. “Oh!” she’d offer the other a small smile before nodding her head. “It’s Alright Rosalie.” she glanced down to there new accessories before lifting her wrist up. “I can’t decide if i’m a fan of these new accessories yet or not.” she shrugged her shoulders.
The news was a shock to Rosalie Moore; a complete surprise. There were so many questions she had and so many things she wanted to yell towards them as well. But, the more and more she thought about it…the more indecisive she became. Of course 90% of her knew she’d never go along with wearing the bracelet, since doing so would make those five years of training go to waste. However, that 10% really had a compelling argument: with that bracelet she could go home with no worries and better yet, visit her sister without having to worry that either one of them would grow ill. Rosalie Moore could be….normal.
Because Rosa was not really paying attention to anything else but the news, the moment she turned to walk, she completely ran into someone. “Oh shit! I’m sorry….I-uh got distracted with the announcement.”

“Oh,” Kayleigh answered, unsure where to go with the conversation. “Well, hopefully that’s working well?”
“Mhm.” Crystal thought for a moment before shrugging her shoulders. “Do you want to get icecream?” she’d glance around before continuing. “Unless you’ve got better things to do.”

“I guess that's a fair comment, you really don’t.” he shrugged. “Oh, im sure something happening if you look for it.” Tristan knew there were things happing some of them he helped do. “I’m starting to film a documentary about this place, so there’s that.”
“That’s pretty interesting actually!” she’d exclaim as her eyes grew with wonder. “You’ll have to show me now Tristan! you’ve caught my interest.” she’d grin at the other as she nodded her head. “What the theme of the documentary? what are you discover via this short film.” she’d pause before continuing. “Can i help! i’d love to help honestly.”

Kayleigh shrugged. She had nothing interesting to say. “Fine, I guess. It’s nice enough. Anything going on with you?” she asked.
Crystal shook her head. “Truthfully? No.” she was a little disappointed in herself, she’d wish she had been doing more exciting things with her life but at the moment she was happy. “I’ve just been experiencing life as it comes.”

Tristan could see her body reacting as she started to talk to him, but that was expected. Most people knew he supported the TRP and he made no effort to hide his dislike for the government. “You say that like every day is chaos in this place.”
Crystal smiled softly at the other as his remark to her comment. “You never know what to expect around here.” she’d chuckle softly before shrugging her shoulders. “Not even chaos though, theres always someone doing something whether its the kids running a muccas or the teenagers spreading gossip like its wild fire.” she’d look at the other hoping her sentence was making sense “I just think its weird nothing is happening.”

Crystal hugged her piles of books closer to her chest as she engaged with the person infront of her. “How has your day been?” she’d question the other before shrugging her shoulders and glancing around at there surroundings. “It’s pretty peaceful today don’t you think?”

“I think we all can.” Flynn gave a small shrug of his shoulders. He didn’t mean to be so overbearing with her, but he felt like, at the time, she hadn’t understood what he had meant. Now she did. Well, hopefully. He was someone that tried to protect others and if she gave a second thought to giving her trust away easily because of him, then he was happy.
“Uh.. no, actually. You’re not.” Flynn smirked awkwardly and ran a hand through his dark hair. “I mean, you could be. But I was thinking of someone else.” He muttered. Someone that was on his mind more often now than they had been ever. “Well good. I’m glad.” He said with a smile. “Yeah… I guess it depends on your own experiences. My experiences when it comes to people haven’t exactly been the best.”
Crystal offered the other a small smile before squeezing his shoulder gently. “It’s okay i get it.” she’d chuckled softly before shrugging her shoulders. “So do you think you’ll be buying that dress?” she’d chuckle softly as she attempted to change the topic from something serious to something more light hearted. “I get it though, i think we all have our demons in the form of people. We either have to learn to get over it or its one awkward time all around.”

“That’s not what I meant.” Flynn shook his head and let out a small, frustrated sigh. “I am nice to everyone. In fact, I try to make sure everyone has a better day when they see me whether it’s making someone laugh or just having a conversation with them. But I can do that and not give them my trust at the same time. Trust and kindness do not go hand in hand.”
“I know the feeling.” Flynn grumbled. He had been hurt from his passed love as well. Although, he got over it rather quickly. He still would never trust that woman again. But he could be kind to her. “All I’m saying is that love, kindness, and any other emotion and feeling is not tied to trust. You can feel certain ways and still not trust a person.” He licked his lips before going on. “So for example, I have recently made a friend and she’s sweet and so nice. I like hanging out with her and I would definitely consider her my friend. But I don’t trust her. I don’t know her well enough to trust her with my feelings and all the baggage I carry. It’s a way to keep some distance between us but also shows that we have room to grow as friends. And I’m sure eventually, I’ll be able to trust her. Once I know her intentions and… yeah.” Flynn finally smiled. “Does that make sense?”
He paused for a moment. “I’m sorry if I just… totally overwhelmed you or… upset you. That wasn’t my intention. I was just trying to explain why I don’t trust you with my deepest darkest secrets and uh… I guess I got a little off topic a bit.”
Crystal nodded her head along before letting out a sigh “Yeah i get it, i guess i can be a little bit stubborn sometimes.” she’d chuckle softly to herself before laughing at the bit about the girl. “I’m the girl in that scenario arn’t i?” she’d grin at the other before shrugging her shoulders. “If i’m not i’m sorry for assuming.”
“You didn’t overwhelm me in the slightest” she’d smile softly at the other before shrugging her shoulders “I guess what i’m saying is i understand why keeping people at arm’s length is a good idea.”

“Doesn’t that make you get hurt easier?” Flynn asked, his lips pressed together into a thin line. He couldn’t understand why anyone just give away their trust to people they don’t know. He was sure that she had a reason but he couldn’t understand it. Or fathom it. He had been hurt by people too many times to believe that could work.
“Just because I don’t give someone my trust automatically, doesn’t make it to where we start on the wrong foot.” Flynn explained to her. “You can still get to know them the same way you would in your scenario. It just means you are protecting yourself just in case they do try to harm you.”
“You’re still friends with him after he broke your trust?” Flynn asked, his eyebrows furrowing slightly. “You think that’s a good idea?” He was genuinely wanting to know. He never gave his trust away again if someone had broken it. Never.
“Maybe, but it doesn’t cost anything to be nice to some.” she’d smile softly at the other before shrugging her shoulders gently. “Thats true but i think that way it just takes longer, i don’t know i think it’s nice to have a reminder that someone will have your back.” she’d let out a sigh before thinking about what the other said. “I might trust to easy, and thats probably why i’m costantly hurt and let down by others. But i guess it was just something my mum taught me to do and i don’t plan on changing my habits anytime soon.”
“Yeah, because after all that i still love him.” she’d raise an eyebrow at the other before shrugging her shoulders. “He’ll always have a piece of my heart and that’s probably what hurts the most, i just don’t see the point in burning bridges in a town like this.”

“True. That’s all I can really do is just work it until there is nothing left to fight for.” She smiled at her. “The world is stacked against all of us. But I believe we will be strong enough to get through whatever the world can throw at us.”
“United we stand right?” she’d shrug her shoulder at the other before smiling gently. “Got to try and fight for something, I wonder if the government has anything planned for christmas.”

“Ah, it’s good. Just trying to figure out how I’m going to survive here.. “ She smiled at her. “I guess just as much as everyone else does.. right?”
“Just try and take it one day at a time..” she’d sigh before shrugging her shoulders. “All you can do is try to survive in a world thats stacked against you.”

“Somehow I don’t really believe that. No offense.” Flynn said as he glanced towards the girl. “See, you just proved my point. You only tell people your secrets when you trust them. I don’t trust you and therefore I wouldn’t tell you my secrets.” He said in an as a matter of fact tone of voice. Flynn then shrugged his shoulders. “Trust isn’t something I give out freely. People have to earn it.”
“I guess i just give people my trust until the prove me wrong.” she’d shrug her shoudlers unsure of the others mood. “Why start out a friendship on the wrong foot. What happened to innocent till proven guilty?” she’d raise an eyebrow at the other. “I might be a bit of an airhead but only one person has ever broken my trust? and i still hold him close to my heart.”

“That’s exciting!” Crystal preclaimed at the other. “Hows life been besides learning a new skill set!”
crystalxcohen:
“What are you thinking about right now?” Crystal would grin at the other before slowly raising an eyebrow at them. “Tell me your deep dark secrets.” she’d keep a stern face before cracking at the last minute and giggling like an idiot.
“Honestly, hmm.. a secret.” Cadence put her finger to her lips and then waited a few moments before looking happily. “I’ve gotten pretty good at video games thanks to a new friend I’ve made.”
