Update on my Writings

 So......It has certainly been.....awhile since I last did....anything here. Apologies for those who actually liked my works and what not. I have a fair bit to explain and such, which I will get to in a moment. Let me explain that between my last post and now, I was doing horribly mentally and in some regards...I still am. Mostly from the stresses of Life and such been rather draining and making me lose the fire I had from writing. Now, you may be wondering...."why say something now?". As for that, it's mainly because I have been feeling a drive to....try again. While I'll say I'm not in a good enough state to truly return....I do have plans to do so in...due time. Now then, if you noticed, I have recently changed the past main two fics tied to the Golden Pyre AU as "Outdated". This is because for GP, I plan to rewrite it with all the Lore changes and such since....if you been around CotL for any amount of time, the updates. While my overall plot is....kinda the same, it shall be in a form to better include more of the Lore I have written up and such. The working title for this is Golden Pyre:Rekindled

 Beyond that, I do...wish to expand my writings into other fandoms that have taken my fancy as of late, specifically Mega-man X which a Canon Re-Write/Interpretation currently under the name "Legacy of X". Granted I have only beaten X1 recently (Why? Sigma Stage 4 was kicking my ass), so I still have the rest of the series to get through. Other projects haven't came as of yet but...I do plan to maybe return to a older fandom to do something a bit more, however that remains in the air. Either way, thanks for your time and see you whenever I finally do something.

I have an announcement

To who little view my works, I am officially retiring from writing. A combination of lack of enjoyment from the act of writing as well as numerous things that happened IRL, I just don't have the energy or fire to do it anymore.

So for anyone who happened to be looking forward towards TFS somehow, sorry to disappoint but I came to this decision after weeks of consideration. I will probably return to lurking around the web once more, keeping any creative things privated among friends.

Not the usual kind of update I do but one I decided to do to celebrate the Golden Pyre AU becoming one year old! Underneath will be read more as I go into reflection and personal thoughts on this and the AU in general

So, a year old, in all honesty I never expected to get this far. Given that honestly a lot of AUs are around and all I have is a fic. But, I do appreciate anyone and everyone who has enjoyed my little story and all that, even if there isn't a lot of vocal communication. I do have plans for this AU even after AotGP's completion, that namely being the sequel piece, Trail of Forgotten Shadows (TFS).

Now, I could have just ended it there and such for my ramblings, but truth be told, I wanna dedicate this little bit to the main person who helped not only motivate me to keep writing, especially for this story, but also inspired me to keep going despite the odds. That being my good old friend and Beta-Reader Rai (@raidoesthings ), I....cannot thank you enough Rai, for always being there to listen to my musings on what to do with this AU and its characters as well as my decently prominent moments of doubt and negativity. Golden Pyre really wouldn't be where it is today, if it weren't for you. Now, some of the others in the server we are in have helped too but Rai, you're the main one. I still wholely believe you can hit the big leagues of the Fandom, I'm just glad you still listen to me and show interest in my stuff to this day.

Anyways, that's about that, I know most people are probably celebrating the DLC that came out, fair enough, I just wanted to take a moment to speak my thoughts and such given the occasion for the AU and such, I'll see you guys next time
