POSITIVE TRAITS

Strong-willed  

Someone strong-willed doesn’t give up easily. A strong-willed person is determined.

Ningas kugon 

refers to the Filipino cultural trait of very enthusiastically starting things, but then quickly losing enthusiasm soon after.

Mañana Habit 

something that we have learned from the Spaniards. The word “Mañana” means ‘tomorrow’ or ‘specified future time’. As Wikipedia defines it ��� it’s “in the indefinite future (used to indicate procrastination – the action of delaying or postponing something)”, or “mamaya na” in Filipino. 

Youth Values

                  The values of today's youth different very much from those of the older generation. Now, a lot of children are affected by person's strong feeling that he or she must do certain things in order to be liked by people of the same age, the misguidance of parents, and family serious problems, leading to their inappropriate behavior. The youth of older generations were careful land family-oriented; now, a lot of the old values have been destroyed. Many of today's filled with problems young people point to family problems, like families broken due to early marriage, teenage pregnancies, and, sometimes, "home wreckers". However a lot of these can be prevented if, and only if, we are aware of what's happening in our community of people.

                   The older generation is allowing something to happen without reacting or trying to stop it and conservative while today's youth tend to be rough, thrill for something and enjoys doing fun new things. Youth are no longer know the value of hard work. 

Lack of Patriotism

                   “Modern education is a major influence for such a situation because the later generation was never taught of country-loving acts and sacrifices of people for their country which resulted in lack of inspiration and moral education also wasn't encouraged as it should have been. young people were taught to be self-independent and to only think carefully about on their well-being. maybe movies and songs also stopped showing country-loving and one-party thinking and started making them believe in fantasies, driving them apart from truthfulness.” (University of Arkansas System) 

                Filipinos back then, once battled for our nation utilizing the greater part of their quality and until their final gasp. In case we will think back to our past, Filipinos in those days thought about patriotism as a genuine issue. So as to achieve a superior nation, one must demonstrate their awesome patriotism and it implies that you will offer all that you have even your valuable life for your own particular nation. Be that as it may, in the Philippines, today, we are deficient in loyalists to a great extent because of the dispersion of Filipino esteems, culture, impact of conquistadors, and the juncture of recorded awful administration.

               We cannot achieve a goal for our country if we keep on doing such things. we should love our country and fight what is right.

POLITICAL CONTEXT

Quezon once criticized dictatorship, where in he do that for people, because of its accented too much sacredness of property and contracts, and recognized too little the social obligation their living in the same land of system. His conceptual and practical goal that individual liberty must not be restricted.  Quezon reveals to attempt to clear the general principles or ideas of a subject rather that practical ideas so that the Philippines might catch up with the United States. Quezon is not of that class he could get along with it, could seek and get its support in some matters and could still see the doing exactly what one want and social stratification of societies as dangerous to the Philippine.

HISTORICAL CONTEXT

Manuel Quezon was the only man styled as a president, he received a nineteen-gun salute. By looking forward to twenty-one guns, he gave a thought about the leadership and polity of the Philippines.  In 1940 he laid a speeches "Theory of a Party-less Democracy". He refer to a nation that is similar to a family. Party-less democracy means the independent candidates will not have any particular agenda and a viewpoint which is not healthy for politics and the conflict will lead to the exhaustion of democracy. In his second speech, it talks about all the critics have been lost in society that all people in Philippines was not to be afraid to speak it out what they feels. But in this idea many was reputed it but, he don’t care about that because the one he wants is that all have a power that was required to have a effect in social justice and  to show the world that totalitarian ruler is the one who known of the government University. But once again there many against of it but he didn’t care about that, even he loses his job and to go in jail but he knew that this idea is the one who can help his country to be grew and have a peaceful country. An earlier speech of Quezon "The Policies and Achievements of the  Government  Regeneration of the Filipino" he  talks about his deep concern of a national character of a Filipino, because of losing much moral strength and and national strength as a Filipino. He want to accomplish his task of a national spiritual reconstruction by "formulate and adopt a social code, a code of ethics and personal conduct"

Wishing all the best

                  I  still can't imagine how fast the time is, and everything happened to quick for me . And I really can't stop myself to reminisce all the past that I have been through that made me feel complete, because I don't want to forget all the best memories that I've had. And now in 2016 I hope and I wish that me and my friends don't stop for being good to each other and continue our relationship as a best friend and family as well.

                   I also wish that me and my family don't get sick   because if ever it happens i know the people who have a care for us will worry about our conditions.And how i wish that I can able to face all the challenges in my life and to have more opportunity to celebrate all the successful things i will do if i have a chance because I believe that a new year is an opportunity to start a new life with unforgettable memories. 

                   And aside of these wishes I also want to be more close to God because he is the reason why my family was became a religious.

How I wish

Time is gold, time is powerful

                   All of us had a chance to live in a given time. But how clueless and pathetic we are, because we don't know how long it would be. So we need to use it wisely even though, we know that a lot of things can happen to everyone in just a split of seconds. Who knows ? that maybe someone will get die later ,tomorrow, or in the next day just because of unwanted death like shooting, get drowned,get killed because someone stab her/him,  get killed by cars, tricycle, motorcycle,bicycle, or even a jeep while crossing a street and many more cause of deaths that people doesn't really know about it.                 

                   So if ever I will have a superpower I prefer to have a superpower that can stop the time where I can able to stop the killer to to kill the pity person using a gun, take the hands of a girl that get drown, thrown away the knife of the killer, pull away the kid in the middle of the street while crossing there when the cars, tricycle, motorcycle, tricycle, bicycle or the jeep was near to her. And to keep it short I want this superpower because I want to save the  lives of the people.  But I know that its so impossible because we can't stop the time, and to also stop the happenings because it destined to happen, and I also believes that it is possible to save the lives of someone when we trust in God because everything is possible to him. I want this superpower because I know that time is very important and powerful for us , because we can't get ourselves back in the time where we wanted to and we can't go to the time that we also wanted too.                   

                    And surely, If i have this superpower I can help a lot, because I can help the person who has a cancer and will die soon to savor the moments to his/him family even just for an hour. And I can also able to help myself to do the things that long time will really needed.

Forgiveness and Acceptance

                           If we got hurt or betrayed  by someone that we care so much or so close to us  we will can hold on to anger where we can have an idea to make a revenge towards to  this person, generally revenge means to do something to get satisfaction for an injury or an insult it  can also make us to do things that will can hurt others.And how pathetic we are when we think to get revenge just because we can't forgive them and we can't accept their sorry because we hurt so much that makes a reason to not trust the others because we scared that maybe it might happened again.But wether we want or not, we need to learn how to accept and how to forgive because whoever we are, we all make mistakes even though it is simple or a big deal.And to learn how to forgive,  we can take away the  hard feelings in our mind and in our heart and we can also learn to forgive ourselves in guilt and it help us to come out of the feeling of self blame. But we know, that forgiving someone who betrayed us may take a long time, because forgiveness was to hard to give especially when you can't move on. Forgiveness is a way for them to learn all their faults and start a new one. And I believed that even though its hard to forgive someone we sholud forgive them because God forgive all the faults that we've done. But forgiveness can be give without excusing an act that will help us to have a peace that help us to continue our life without bitterness and hatred. And in accepting someone or forgiving someone we actually helping ourself more than them, because we choose to forgive that seems so hard and unfair in our part,was really good in or part in a different way. We also helping them by giving them our forgiveness and acceptance.

Stop pretending just be who you are

" Never pretends to persons who accept you and never accept the persons who pretends to you "

                    Last Friday as  I red the story while auto waits of O. Henry, that  was all about a girl and a young man who meet in a park and fell in love with each other but neither of them is what they seem because they pretends to be someone else, I really realized and learned a lot because I believed that we , everybody , should accept who we are and never pretends to be someone else just because we  want to accept by them, and also if we pretends to others we just let ourselves to judge by them that we should  never allowed to happen  just for the sake of gaining acceptance ,because God is here to accept everything about us,  if ever there's no person who can appreciate the things that we did, to make us  unique to everyone in a different way. But sometimes , we can't stop ourselves to pretend because to  think that pretending is the right thing to do, so people who judge everything that they wanted to  will accept us . Even though pretending just will take away our trust for who we are. And honestly it will be effortless to be true to ourselves if we act according to what we believed because when we do things that genuine  we will  be happy to ourselves and we will not end up confused about our true identity because it doesn't mean that when we stop pretending we are inconsiderate and we disrespect the others, because it means that we are strong and capable of standing up as ourselves and  we never let them to define us and make a decision for our own sake because the truth is they're just making a decision to not make them disappointed to their expectations to us, as someone else that they thinks we should be.
