Is there someone you miss as in a best friend/friend that you were so close to before? Do you miss talking to them or even having that good friendship?
Of course I miss people that were once my friend in my life. It's sad to know that some people will enter your life, only for them to leave eventually, whether it's their fault or not. But I guess for some people, it's not necessarily the person you miss, but the memories you created with them.

United States: Texas state law passed despite being voted on after a deadline and being protested by both the people and a state Senator. Protests at the senate growing, and law enforcement called in. - The Voting Rights Act of 1965 has been declared inert in the US i.e people of color can be barred from voting. - Nation-Wide bill, Proposition 8, will be voted on tomorrow which will affect the future of same-sex marriage in the US.
Australia: Leadership ballot being called in 2 hours for the third time during the Prime Minister's leadership as to whether or not she will continue as leader of the ALP, her party.
United Kingdom: Government will ban Church of England and Church of Wales from offering same-sex marriage.
Greece: Trans*people and sex workers are being rounded up in concentration camps; migrant workers have been stuck in "detention camps" for months in horrible conditions; Neo-Nazis in power
Hungary: Neo-Nazis and the Jobbik Party are marching in people's neighborhoods, targeting PoC and LGBTQ, calling for records as far as 5 generations back to see who is Jewish
Russia: Government creating anti-homosexuality policies threatening the safety of all LGBT*Q Russians.

6/17/13: I'll never forget the day where we first met. My Mom's business Honeebee Productions held a benefit concert for the Sandy Hook Elementary shooting and so many bands, including the one you played in, came out to play. You had just missed the STHS Polynesian Club and I perform and as soon as you walked in, I couldn't help but glance your way. I know it was bad because I was still with my ex at the time, and so I tried to stay away. But as we danced to CRSB singing and you kept dancing closer and closer to me, I couldn't help but feel the energy between us. It was like as if you were pulling me in. By the end of the night, we got to talking and exchanged numbers. I felt extremely guilty, but I tried to convince myself that you and I would just be good friends. And so you entered my life as my "island buddy" and we developed a friendship like no other. It really amazed me that I was so comfortable around you. I never had a best guy friend before and I loved that I could come to you with my problems, tease the crap out of each other, or just chill. I think that's what did it for me. The fact that I didn't have to front and I could act like my weird, dorky self in front of you without feeling embarrassed or judged was what sealed the deal. To know that we can act like the biggest dorks in the world together is what made me fall in love with my best friend. ๐๐
