“A DayDream At Night” ChristopherTaylor XI
We were at a mall, sitting in its skylight lounge area with a dark red ottoman in the center and two grey/tan colored chairs. Healthy Ferns in baby blue square vases surround the section we’re in. At least thats what i remember seeing...
You and I are in the two chairs that are facing each other instead of the center of the area. You sit directly in front of me with your eyes closed and the sun kissing the right side of your face. I wasn’t jealous.. you glisten..
Your eyes still closed, We say nothing. You absorb the sun as I absorb the sight of you. If I were to say anything right now, my sentence wouldn’t make sense.. I’d be too happy to care enough to form any other thought but you.. At least thats what I think...
The sun had had his turn.. I reached out and placed my hands on your cheeks gently (as if you were asleep and was trying not to wake you), caressing the twinkling star sitting across from me...
I felt your smile form in my hands and you laughed when i touched your nose..
I moved my right hand to your collar bone.. thats the last thing I remember..
It was happy... and I was happy
