I would just like to point out, again, that it’s interesting I said “gods” and you automatically assumed I meant Yahweh, the god of the monotheistic religions.

And yes, given the thousands of religious experiences throughout the history of humanity, the claim that there is no deity at all is an extraordinary claim that you cannot prove, as I said in another post, because it is impossible to do so. The belief that there is no deity is as irrational as the belief that there is one.

Again, I’m sorry about replying this way, but  I have literally never been able to get Tumblr’s reply feature to work.

I said evidence you complete idiot, not meandering nonsense. First of all, I said gods, not Yahweh, the specific god of a handful of religions. Your argument doesn’t actually work to disprove the existence of Yahweh, because it’s nonsense and ignores *the entire fucking history* of Jewish, Christian, and Muslim arguments about free will and the actions of humanity. And it is completely non sequitur when it comes to any other deities.

I mean, I also know you’re arguing in bad faith, because you have an irrational belief that gods don’t exist and can’t disprove their existence because -- and this was the point I was making that you were too stupid to notice -- it is *literally impossible* to disprove the existence of gods. You cannot do it. So shut the fuck up and examine your own irrational beliefs before you bother anyone else about theirs.

The answer is actually because the former two services can be provided without significant groups gathering and the third generally cannot be.

I would like every fucking evangelical atheist to actually prove gods don’t exist. Go on. Provide evidence. You’re making an extraordinary claim, so you need extraordinary evidence. Have at it.
