I love the gif because there’s an incredible number of mistakes crammed into just a couple of seconds. 

1. how the hole starts in the wall but it keeps moving forward

2. then magically heals itself

3. the triceratops walks right through the wall

4. the table blinking before the dinosaurs appear

5. both tables disappear

6. so suddenly appear again as they are toppling over

7. two people clipping into running without any transition 

8. the table outline hides a man’s legs but there is no table

9. the triceratops horns aren’t white in the second clip

10. tables changing both color and material in the second clip

11. a carnivorous dinosaur’s first instinct is to go and eat a whole plate with salad

i'm losing my fucking mind. a damn near perfect file in simcity 3000 was chugging along just fine and suddenly everything broke. tax income dropped by like 90%. i was getting warnings about low land value despite them being at their highest nearly across the entire city. baffled, i made a backup save and then let it continue for a bit and. i literally got fucking fired. i lost. i didn't even know you could lose simcity. and again, everything was still just as meticulously perfect as autism/adhd hyperfocus could make it (very).

the culprit, uncovered after significant investigation?

that's right. my land values were so high they looped back to zero. i got fucking nuclear gandhi'd. i was so good at simcity i literally broke it, i'm laughing so much. i think this means i won simcity, actually

People being mad about another awful Disney live action remake is so fucking funny. Now granted what I’ve heard is that the Lilo & Stitch remake is particularly soulless and insulting to the source material, but why is anyone surprised. Why are you expecting a massive media conglomerate that’s been doing the same dumb slop for the past 10 years to suddenly do something good. They don’t give a shit about anything but making money. Just don’t watch the shitty CGI remakes. I don’t understand why this is so difficult. Kill the mouse. Find media you actually like.

It has often been said that "you should care about [group/issue x, y, or z] because they'll come for you next," and that can be an effective appeal.

But this is not solidarity.

Solidarity is being there for each other because we recognize the fragility and vulnerability in our shared humanity and the importance and validity of our diverse struggles. We all have needs sometimes, some more existential and urgent than others.

We find strength, comfort, love, and safety in each other. That is community. That is solidarity.
