Things to know about this AU:

Unlike my other 2 OC-led AUs, this one is probably going to be more a collection of connected stories than one continuous storyline.

I already have a pretty good idea of the stories I want to tell for the OCs I have currently and their love interests.

My main OC, Savvy Metcalf, will be the one that connects them all in multiple ways.

This AU also has the ability to expand to other characters not currently covered with more OCs to come.

With this being a crossover of sorts with Top Gun & Top Gun: Maverick, it wouldn't take much to incorporate some of those characters and create some OCs for them as well.

There's also an OC I have with a last name that could also open another door to further expand this series if I so choose, but I don't know that I want to do so just yet.

This also means I may or may not introduce other Chris Evans' characters and other characters not yet featured as I figure out how they fit in.

For characters I have introduced but don't have OCs as love interests yet, doesn't mean that it won't happen for them. Just they haven't sparked someone special for them at this point in time.

Like my other 2 OC-led AUs where they're in worlds filled with a certain level of violence and other darker elements, this one will also contain some of those as well.

I will always do my best to tag all the dark elements that come up in a story or series.

That said, I can say this one will feature dark elements and topics that aren't suitable for all audiences.

Such elements will include: torture, kidnapping (adults and children), domestic violence (previous), PTSD, drug mentions, and more.

The list isn't exhaustive at this moment in time, but it will be updated on each story/part as it comes out.

Savvy's Extended Family

Meet the two families that surround Savvy's daily life in Cupid's Arrow.

Savvy's 'Blood' Family

Papa Metcalf - former Navy officer and head of Metcalf Mafia; old callsign was "Gaboon", which is a slight homage to his father

Mama Metcalf - runs the best restaurant/diner in town and where both of Savvy's families like to congregate

Curtis Everett - adopted child by the Metcalfs when he was 3; closest to Savvy and acts her Consigliere

Edgar - adopted child by the Metcalfs during infancy after car accident that almost claimed him, Curtis, and Mace while actually claiming his mother

James Mace - former foster who aged out with the Metcalfs; considers them family though he's content with not being formally adopted; works at NASA as engineer

Nick Gant - former foster who also aged out with the Metcalfs; considers them family like Mace; tends to travel and showcase his many tricks and illusions to get by

Cassie Holmes - current foster who came to the Metcalfs thanks to Nick; really enjoys fortune telling and playing at being clairevoyant; has a favored tarot deck that she uses

Natasha "Phoenix" Trace - former foster; closest girlfriend of Savvy and only one of the Metcalf kids to follow dear old 'Dad' into the Navy where she's currently a lieutenant and also a fighter pilot

Frank Adler - Savvy's future husband/current love interest; works boat repair after Papa Metcalf taught him all he needed to know; spends most of his days taking care of Mary the way his sister would've wanted; takes him longer than it should to realize that Cupid's Arrow is a mafia-owned town and Savvy is its leader

Mary Adler - Savvy's future niece; mathematic genius; adores her extended family thanks to Savvy; doesn't realize how loved and adored she is by everyone in Cupid's Arrow; her best friends are Jake's niece and Sam's nephews; Friday's are spent with Roberta and Saturday's are with Savvy

Savvy's Mafia Family

Jake Jensen - resident hacker and enforcer when necessary; came to Cupid's Arrow after Savvy saw his talent in her law firm's IT department; still works for the firm when he's not doing work for the mafia; also moved his sister and niece so they could be close to him; only Savvy gets away with calling Jake 'JJ'

Colin Shea - resident sleuth and newer member of this 'family'; Savvy discovered him when he was spying on one of her clients and decided his skills could be useful; nickname is Casanova; works most often with Jake

Steve Rogers - retired Army vet who ended up in Cupid's Arrow because of Sam; takes over one of Papa Metcalf's businesses (local car garage); one of Savvy's most trusted bodyguards

Bucky Barnes - followed Steve to Cupid's Arrow after being medically discharged from the Army; works alongside Steve at the garage; one of Savvy's most trusted bodyguards

Sam Wilson - met Savvy and her dad via the VA; accepted invite to visit Cupid's Arrow and never left; moved his sister and nephews to keep them close; runs the town's largest marina; another enforcer when necessary for the 'family'

Meet Cassandra "Sassy" Gibbs

About Her

One of Savvy's closest friends from their college days

They still keep in touch years later

Sassy is happy to have an excuse to spend a couple weeks in Cupid's Arrow between jobs

Of the two, she's definitely the more fun and flirtatious

Her weakness is nerdier guys especially nerdy guys that are still built

Knowing this, Savvy is only too happy to introduce Sassy to Jake Jensen, her best IT guy

Sassy definitely feels 'lust' at first sight with Jake and has so much fun in teasing him (nothing mean as she means everything she says to him)

Sassy soon finds herself extending her time in Cupid's Arrow as she gets to know Jake better

Meet Charity "Snow" Kazansky

*Britt Robertson is Charity's face claim.

About Her

Daughter of Tom "Iceman" Kazansky

She's a Navy LT and a fighter pilot just like her dad

Her callsign is an homage to her father's while also a play on her male classmates in Top Gun considering her a virgin or 'pure as the driven snow' in her personal life

The idea is furthered by the fact she turned each and every one of them down flat

She does end up first in her class, much like her father did during his time at Top Gun

She ends up in Cupid's Arrow while on leave visiting it with her friend Natasha "Phoenix" Trace, a foster of the Metcalf family

When she meets Savvy and the Metcalf family, she finds herself quite welcomed especially as Savvy's dad knows hers

During her stay, she also gets to meet Savvy's other 'family' and is even personally introduced to Savvy's best sleuth, Colin Shea

She's quite surprised to find herself so attracted to this reformed 'Casanova' and even considers her future with the Navy and in Cupid's Arrow over her extended leave

Meet Patricia "Tricks" Howard

*Kathryn McCormick's character from Step Up Revolution is the closest face claim to Tricks.

About Her

Works as a dance instructor in Cupid's Arrow

Former Olympic-trained gymnast until she retired due to injury

"Tricks" is a nickname she got that stuck due to her ability to pull off moves that many don't think possible

Her dancing is quite fluid and beautiful to watch because of her background and is quite sought after from residents in and around Cupid's Arrow (and far outside it, too)

A break-in at her studio has her a little worried about her safety, so she's pointed towards one of Savvy's most favored enforcers/bodyguards to teach her self-defense

When he refuses to take her money, she finally gets him to accept dance lessons as payment for his guidance and training

They're constantly teased for how close they grow towards each other during this time, but they're both insistent they're just friends

Until they aren't...

Meet Ellie Rogers

About Her

Steve's younger sister

She comes to Cupid's Arrow to escape her abusive ex except that he follows her there; he won't last long as she catches the eye of one Curtis Everett

While she has graduated high school, her ex is the reason she never finished college or have very many friends on whom she can rely upon

She ends up falling for Curtis, who helps her when she first comes to town and witnesses her ex making an incredibly terrible decision by trying assault her and take her back 'home'

It takes her a while to actually fall though as she's not ready to dive back into a relationship but she does fall

Steve's quite protective of her and she soon finds herself growing closer to the others that surround him and his 'found family' in Cupid's Arrow

She's definitely the little sister of all the guys while Savvy is the older sister

About Her

Current head of the Metcalf Mafia in Cupid's Arrow

Future partner at Barber, McCoy, and Kaffee (kudos if you get all the three references)

Specializes in corporate law but does dabble occasionally in other specialties when necessary or gets the necessary help for those within Cupid's Arrow

Graduated Harvard Law and practiced in Boston for a short time until moving back to Cupid's Arrow, working with the same law firm at a local branch

While the only 'blood' child of her parents, she has many siblings between her adopted brother, Curtis, and her foster siblings

Grandfather was the legendary Mike "Viper" Metcalf, who also started the Metcalf Mafia clan when he retired with a bunch of his naval buddies

She prefers the diplomatic route when dealing with other mafia families and with law enforcement but don't underestimate her lethality however should you be foolish enough to threaten or harm someone she cares about

Always loved the idea of happily ever after for her and her family members, meaning she'll play matchmaker on occasion and has a 98% success rate with her matched couples

Lost a good friend to drug addiction which makes her intolerant to any type of drug use, including excessive use and abuse of alcohol

Her greatest weakness is one cranky Frank Adler and his adorable niece, Mary
